pastry heaven

the pain au chocolate is a gift from the pasty gods. There are a handful of vegan pastry options here!

Pros: Egan pasties , staff

wish there were more vegan options

the chocolate croissant was really good! also the plant love sandwich was pretty good as well. normally i’m afraid that croissants are going to be too dry but these were just right.

Incredibly soft, delicious donut

This morning I got a rosemary blueberry bombolini and I am impressed. I usually prefer non-filled donuts but wanted to try something new and I'm so glad I did. Unfortunately my photo is a bit blurry but there was a lot of filling, the texture of pie filling. The chocolate glaze was perfect but the star is that dough! So soft and fresh! I was planning on walking around the city all day or I would have bought some to bring home. I highly recommend Unregular Bakery.

Pros: Amazing pastry, Friendly staff, Cute interior

Unregular Bakery

They only offered two vegan donut options. I recommend the Nutella and cream cheese one. They are very pretty donuts but something felt like it was missing.

I’ll Be a Regular Here

I'm really fond of this place. Look at these creative pastries--with the combinations of atypical flavors (blueberry rosemary donut) and unusual shapes (round croissant), this place lives up to its name.

I had the vegan breakfast sandwich which was made with their fantastic round croissant, Just Egg, Vertage mozzerella, and some sort of 'sausage' patty. The sausage was way off--interesting but not in a good way. It was green with white beans and peas, and tasted as green as it looked. It was more of a garden burger and was good on its own, but did not fit in the breakfast sandwich. It makes me wonder whether management even taste tested the patty with the staff. Otherwise the sandwich was a hit! I think it would be about $11 without the "sausage".

The blueberry rosemary donut was definitely interesting. I wasnt such a fan of the texture of the jelly filling, but the flavor certainly was good. And it was BEAUTIFUL. So glad they have delicious yeast donuts, and I cannot wait to come back for the nutella.

There are four tables alongside bench seating in the front and lotssssss of seating in the back with a few outlets. Wifi is solid.

Bonus, they have really nice bathrooms.

Pros: Sweet and savory, Unconventional combos/flavors, Good spot to work from

Cons: Pastries are like $6 (but worth it)

not worth it!

I think you can safely skip this place - the pastry did not seem worth consuming. the 'nutella & cream cheese' doughnut was so sweet it was not even funny; the 'blueberry rosemary ' was not as sweet but pretty sour, so much so I'd think it was cranberry, not blueberry. the croissant was a bit too buttery, your mileage may vary.

Unusual yet tasty

This is a bakery/cafe with a bunch of places to sit. I saw 4 different vegan pastries. I noticed they also offer a vegan breakfast (vegan eggs, cheese, sausage). They also offer plant milk for their coffee (for $1 surcharge).

I had a vegan croissant and jelly donut (which they call "bombalone"--which is essentially a jelly donut). Both had an out-of-the-ordinary taste, though I liked them very much.

Pros: Decent price, laid-back, lots of places to sit

Cons: Vegan tax for plant milk for the coffee

Great vibes and baked goods

Cute bakery with sandwiches and pastries. Two vegan yeast donut options with a homemade-style flavor and texture, both of which were divine.
Sandwich options include meat but also have vegan egg options. Hot drinks are fine but not the highlight.

Pros: Doughnuts , Vibes

Cons: Hot drinks, Few vegan flavors
