A small social cooperative enterprise in the city centre that offers vegan options. Only a few minutes from Exarchion square. Serves salads, juices and smoothies along with sandwiches, baguettes and other savoury snacks and hot specials. Reported open, Aug 2020. Open Mon-Sun 11:30am-1:00pm.

Favourite place in Exarchia

My fav place in Exarchia. Vegetarian and vegan food. Generous portions and cheap prices. Mushrooms are extraordinary!!!Live music in the weekends

ΜΑΝΙΤΑΡΙΑ ΠΛΕΥΡΩΤΟΥΣ (pan fried mushrooms) is gorgeous!!!!!

Cosy restaurant/bar, with one vegan dish listed and many of the dishes the staff informed are vegan or can be made vegan. The dish listed as ΜΑΝΙΤΑΡΙΑ ΠΛΕΥΡΩΤΟΥΣ is amazing!!! Pan fried mushrooms, wild rocket, tiny tomatoes, a balsamic style dressing, perhaps finely grated ginger/orange? Sssoooo good!!! Most dishes were in the €3.50-4 range, very good value for money.

Also had tasty fennel pies (ask for them to be served without cheese garnish to make vegan), and the listed vegan dish which was grilled mushrooms, peppers and onion skewers served with finely chopped red cabbage.

A very hidden gem

While the place is not at all utopian nor a garden, the waiter/chef was very friendly and the mushroom plate I ordered was absolutely delicious!! Very filling and well priced, I'm sure the other menu items are great as well :)

Pros: amazing mushrooms!

Cons: it feels like you're sitting in a post apocalyptic
