Many vegan options, no alcohol.

Indian food isn’t big in Barcelona, so if you’re visiting the city and craving Indian, this place is your best bet. It has tons of vegan options, but the Spanish palette doesn’t favor spice, so I feel like they’ve toned down the flavor in their dishes. I found this to be the case at other Indian places here, too, though. It’s a very popular restaurant in any case, so book ahead. Have a drink before you come because there’s no booze served in this healthy joint.

great authentic indian

One of the handful of authentic indian restaurants in Barcelona. 90% vegan, alcohol free. Lovely service.. spiciness level is adjusted to spanish taste, but they will make it indian spicy if you ask them 😉. Reserving a table is recommeded. They take ticket restaurant.

Pros: great authentic food, not expensive

90% vegano

Es un lugar pequeño y acogedor. La comida es deliciosa y la carta es 90% vegana. He ido varias veces a cenar y repetiré siempre que pueda.
He ido con personas no veganas/no vegetarianas y han quedado encantadas.
Además, aunque echo de menos la presencia de mujeres trabajando, el personal es paciente y amable.
Plato preferido: albóndigas de espinacas.

yummy!!

We have tried lots of Indian restaurants in Barcelona. Most cater for vegans, although some don’t seem to understand 100%, which is worrying. This place are very focussed on vegan food and the menu is mostly vegan, just some dishes with cheese. venue is small and basic. service is friendly and efficient. The food is excellent. just spicy enough, not at all oily and very tasty! A new favourite place to eat for us.

Pros: all vegetarian , mostly vegan, around 90% of the menu , not too oily

Cons: no alcohol

Very nice Indian place

Seemingly super popular place, tables were not empty for longer than a few minutes while we were there. Very friendly service. Nice food, but they asked if we wanted spicy and we still got very mild. Tasty though.

Seating is a bit cramped (did I mention it's a busy place?). Food comes out very fast. Prices were certainly not cheap, but quite OK. Nice.

Genuine Indian food - which is rare

It is a rare thing to find an Indian restaurant that has genuine Indian food at high quality with genuine ingredients, this is one of them.

Not only do they have the classics and serve them done very well, but they also have the rarities that are hard to find outside of India, e.g. masala dosa and various small dishes from the north of India (e.g. chaat). Most of the menu can be done vegan, sadly not everything (some of the dishes that normally have yogurt are quite tame without it).

If you haven't tried Indian classics such as karela or dosa I strongly recommend this restaurant, most dishes are OK at the very least, the dosa is done very well.

The venue is quite small and often crowded, but well ventilated. The staff are pleasant, although slow at times. Prices are quite high, considering you are likely to order several dishes to get full. They do however offer complimentary poppdums, chutney and a small cup of tea after your meal. All in all, excellent.

Pros: Genuine Indian food, some very rare dishes, High quality, most of the time, Nice flavour

Cons: Expensive, Slow staff, Tight spaces

Tasty veggie food, good quantities

The menu del día was fabulous value: salad bar with some really tasty toppings, then thali (adapted option for vegans) with naan, and vegan carrot cake for desert. We added a fresh fruit juice for just 1.50 more too. The thali was delicious. We got extra naan and they didn't charge us either. Lots of yummy food. Thoroughly recommend

Pros: vegan options , tasty food , geat value

Good food, good prices

Indian vegetarian restaurant with many vegan options (vegan is almost 90%).
Good foods, also like tapas. Amazing lemon rice and mixed starter.
Good prices.
The photos on the walls are beautiful and also the furnishings, including the carved counter and the many statues of various Indian deities scattered everywhere!
Particular very nice is that when they bring the bill also carry a decorated metal box with inside many digestive mixed seeds!
As digestive here we also got a delicious green tea with fresh mint leaves.

Come to Veg World

Only for the naan with vegan cheese you should visit this place.

It's probably one the few "safe Indian restaurants" in Barcelona as most of them will cook with ghee and consider the dish vegan. You won't have this issue in Veg World.

The are some truly amazing vegan dishes. I can totally recommend this restaurant!

Pros: Many vegan options, Naan + vegan cheese!

Cons: None

best vegan north indian I've had in a while

As an Indian (and vegan) I was sceptical going to an indian restaurant in Barcelona but my wife and I had a great meal here! The ambience and setting is quite authentic and comfortable - the manager and service was great. He told us they could make pretty much everything vegan. Had vegan cheese naan, palak kofta curry (coconut cream gravy), jalfrezi and tandoori kabab. The food was consistently good and they even served us vegan cake on the house. will definitely go back if we visit Barcelona. If you're vegan and like Indian food, you will love this place

Pros: Vegan options for 90% of north indian dishesgreat

Cons: small restaurant so you may have to wait if it&#39

Perfect!

Being of Indian descent I have eaten a lot of Indian food in my life. Veg World is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. My husband and I are vegan and when we told the manager he told us they could make us vegan cheese naan! We also ordered the vegetable jalfrezi, spinach korma and veg kebab. Everything was so delicious and not greasy. We also had a lovely vegan cake for dessert. Veg World is the best Indian restaurant I've been to in terms of catering to vegans, especially for creamy north Indian food. Either make a reservation or go early, I saw quite a few groups were turned away. I think some people mentioned it wasn't as spicy as food in India, I'm sure if you ask they will make it spicier otherwise they have some chilli sauces you can add to make it spicier :) Service was also excellent and the decor is lovely.

Amazing!

It's a hard call, but I'd say this is the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to! Between us we had mixed starters, a dosa, spinach kofta, paneer tikka masala, another paneer dish, aloo nan and lemon rice. Plus a mango ice cream that they brought in error and gave us on the house - we'd thought we were full till we tasted the ice cream :) I'm not given to hyperbole, but everything was amazing, even the pickles were unusual and extra-tasty. Service a bit slow as a large group arrived soon after us, but it was well worth the wait.
