Great vegan food close to Alameda - Edit
Spent two weeks in CDMX eating at vegan restaurants and this was one of the only places we ate at twice. The vegan pizza was great and my wife loved the flautas.

This place in the historical center is a pleasant surprise. The staff is very warm and polite. It was unexpectedly nice and with a variety of main dishes and desserts .

Stopped here for a midday snack, ice cream and chai, all which were delicious but, wow I wish I had lunch or came back for dinner. I saw what others were eating and it looked fantastic.

I was pleasantly surprised that this restaurant was a few blocks from my hotel. The place is really cool , you can eat outside. They have an upstairs inside if you want to. The menu is very extensive. I went with typical Mexican flautas and they were amazing. I will go back. (Went back and had the crispy burger… really nice)

We had a pizza and enchiladas - the enchiladas were served at body temperature and swimming in a sauce that was basically water with a little bit of salsa verde. It was so much water the salsa was swooshing around in the deep plate. I have never seen something like this before. Of course it made the taste not very pleasant. The pizza was too overloaded with ingredients (lots of chickpeas and other things).

We tried three different dishes and each one was beautifully plated, delicious and so creative. The drinks and desserts lived up to the rest. We are only in CDMX for 6 days and will make it back at least one more time
