I visited Vegan Bombon with two vegan friends on our day-trip in Alicante.
Read moreThe cinnamon and pistachio swirls were very fluffy and sweet, they were excellent! The decaf oatmilk latte was nice, too.
The chocolate-covered palm leaf is a great idea, but the execution could have been better. The leaf was a bit dry, the chocolate didn't taste much.
The staff was friendly, the toilet was very clean.
It's a must-visit!

The bakery opens somewhat early, compared to other places. The owner was friendly. For pastries, he would warm up for you without even asked. Cinnamon rolls were good. We tried the pistachio and original cinnamon rolls.

Probé el cinamon roll de canela y me quedé sin palabras de lo bueno que estaba.
Se agradecen este tipo de establecimientos, ya que cuesta encontrar opciones 100% plant-based, sin lugar a dudas repetiré para probar más productos.
Y comentar que calidad precio está más que bien👌🏻

We tried the avocado toast (which was a bit like bruschetta) and the „special bagel“. Both were very nice. We were happy to find an all vegan place with so many options. No one else was there which we hope was the exception😉

Read moreMaybe I just chose the wrong cakes? I had a chocolate cake, carrot cake and a cheese cake/pie(?). None of them tasted good to me. Actually the worst vegan cakes I've had in 9 years as a vegan, and I threw them all in the trash. Chocolate cake and carrot cake was dry and didn't have a lot of flavors. Cheese-thing was like eating only sugar.
Very sad if this is what people think vegan cakes taste like.

Small bakery with some seats inside and outside. They also do pizzas and wraps. I loved the sweet pastries, the gluten free doughs work led less well with savoury things for me. The dishes they had were not that good to be honest. Go here for the cinnamon rolls and other sweets though!

I was intrigued to see vegan squid/calamari on a menu. I had never heard of this before. I have since seen it for sale in shops locally, eg happy vegetal. They were very tasty. Served in a bagel with fries. Very tasty but did not feel at all healthy or nutritious. Very happy to try new vegan food and there were lots of other options to be honest. Pastries and cakes looked amazing. Definitely try this place if you are vegan. There are a few tables for eating there.

It's not uncommon to find either vegan OR gluten-free food... Especially when it comes to pastry. But this place has it all, we can satisfy any cravings without feeling restricted and their doughnuts are out of this world! I don't know how they manage to get them so fluffy. Every time we go to Alicante, a trip to Vegan Bombon is mandatory!

Best place for vegans and gluten free guests in Alicante - Edit
When I think of eating well in Alicante, I think of vegan bombon. This is a great place for vegans and gluten free folks. Pizza, kebap, burger, cake, cookies, pastry, ice cream - they have it all! The owner is a nice man, welcoming and happy to serve the guests. I come back to this place regularly every time visiting Alicante and the offer gets better and better. Definitely worth a visit. You can takie away or eat in . Delicious!
