Vegang looked pretty busy at 8pm on a Thursday night after a heat advisory day (that I spent mostly at home trying to avoid), but I still managed to get a seat outside. (No one was sitting inside given how hot it had been.) The staff member for my table was a pro: he knew to swing by and take my order after I made eye contact and gave him a slight nod.
Read moreFrom their house-made cold drinks, I ordered the Hanoi Mystery, which was my first good decision. The fresh mint had not been muddled with the rest of the juices, but I took little bites of the leaves here and there to integrate their refreshing flavor. The fresh passion fruit and orange slice garnishes were also welcome additions to my meal.
The star of the show was the Duckin’ Good: a seitan-based duck rice dish, which I ordered with the red curry-coconut sauce. By special request, I had it made spicy; and it had a pleasant level of spice. The variety of fresh vegetables, the perfectly cooked rice, and the crunchy “skin” on the outside of the duck combined with the softer texture inside was satisfying.
As I paid my bill via NFC on a handheld terminal with my server at the end of the meal, I complimented how the duck was possibly the best prepared seitan I’ve ever had. And he recommended I also try the chicken next time, which is actually his favorite.

Brilliant food, tasty and a lovely range! Even my carnivore partner enjoyed it. If you're not feeling like a rice or noodle dish, you could go tapas style with the number of small plates they offer.

Good food here, noodles were a little bit watery but my husband likes his sauce like that, staff not super friendly we had empty water bottles and we had to put them on the floor but other than that would come again.

Amazing vegan food! - Edit
The food was SO FLAVOURFUL. My favourite was the soya boy rice dish. The vegan soy meat literally tasted like real meat and the texture was amazing. Definitely one of the best vegan meals I’ve had. The environment is also really nice and cozy and the staff were really friendly as well. Highly recommend this place😊

Tasty AF Asian vegan spot - Edit
Great Asian vegan spot, the appetizers themselves would make a great meal by themselves, had the “scallops” based on mushrooms, sweet potato fries and as a main their tofu based “chikn” curry, super tasty, amazing service, super nice vibe all around.

Great menu with loads of yummy vegan options! My non-vegan boyfriend enjoyed the food as well which is a bonus point. The only reason I haven't given five stars is because the service was pretty poor. Seemed like we were an inconvenience, rather than paying customers which was a massive shame because the food is so delicious!

Es gibt wirklich auch mal ein paar andere Gerichte hier als das, was man immer schon aus anderen asiatischen veganen Restaurants kennt, und einfach alles ist lecker. Besonders die scallops und die vegane Ente! Preis ist gehoben aber immer noch echt richtig gut für die Leistung.

All vegan with various meat and fish substitutes. Big selection of starters, rice and noodle dishes. They all have fun names. I had the What’s Your Nem, a rice noodle salad with spring rolls, Asian herbs and a ginger lemongrass dressing. My friend had the Cari You Home, which was even better.

Mostly Vietnamese restaurant, which offers great food and drinks in a nice location in Charlottenburg. The Cur I Mama was really tasty. For most of the dishes you can choose between tofu and vegan meat alternatives as add on.
