Terrible experience - Edit
Would rate this restaurant zero stars if I could. The staff has a social disorder and cant communicate in a normal way. The food was as terrible as the staff. Everything tasted like greeze / oily and the vegetables where cooked to moosh. Worst restaurant experience in a long time.

Normalerweise gute mischung von Sud Indische und Sri Lankanisch essen. Aber ein paar gericht sind überhaupt nicht richtige Indische wie Samosa und Vada Pav. Original Vada Pav und Samosa sind ganz anders. hatte ich Payasam bestellte aber es hat nur wasser drin und keine süß. Denke Das die küche Mitarbeiter hat wasser hinzugefügt. Das kostet 5.20€!

Bei zahlreichen Besuchen im letzten Jahr haben die beiden männlichen Mitarbeiter immer wieder alles versucht, von der Frage nach meiner Nationalität, meiner Religion, meinem Beruf bis hin zur Mitnahme meiner Debitkarte während der Zahlung und der Verwendung als Möglichkeit, Witze zu machen und zwanglosere Gespräche zu beginnen.

Top, Indian fast food - Edit
Ein indischer Fast Food Laden, wie mensch sie in bestimmten Londoner Stadtvierteln findet und weniger ein indisches Restaurant, wie sonst in Dtl. gewohnt. Trotzdem sehr lecker und Recht preiswert, sprich lohnt sich.

Usually rude service in an Indian restaurant means excellent food. But we were even treated politely! And the food was still fantastic. Very generous use of cumin, anise and cilantro seeds, not very spicy. Vegan items are not labeled and I am concerned that some frying had been done using ghee. But I didn’t press for information.

Wir zwei Veganer haben Essen für drei Personen bestellt, da wir sehr hungrig waren. ( es blieb etwas für den nächsten Tag übrig)

Ein wenig scharf, aber nicht zu scharf.
Essen, dass dem Körper gut tut.
Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder.
Wir haben sogar ein kleines Abendbrot und einen Nachtisch geschenkt bekommen, sehr herzliches Personal.

The food they serve here is not the typical Indian, but from south India and Sri Lanka. Service was quick and friendly and prices are reasonable. I would always go back!

Staff is super friendly. The dosa was the highlight. Otherwise we had two more dishes which were great as well. They know what vegan is and adjust the dishes from vegetarian to vegan.

Amazing food, terrible staff - Edit
The food tastes amazing but the staff was very rude. They also served us (cows)yoghurt although we explicitly asked for the dish without the yoghurt. I felt unwelcome so I wouldn't recommend sitting here unless you don't mind being treated rudely. The food on the other hand was splendid.

Hier findest du authentisches, indisches Street Food in einer Imbisatmosphäre. Alles, was das indienliebende Herz begehrt: Samosas, verschiedene Thalis, Dosas, Chapatis und und und. Nach meiner Indienreise habe ich hier "the taste of india" wieder gefunden.

Viele Gerichte eignen sich auch zum Mitnehmen als Snack für zwischendurch. So wie street food im eigentlichen Sinne gedacht ist. Ich lieb's.

Last time I was there was in January 2022, but up until then the food was always VERY flavorful and a real pleasure. The different colors used on the board are supposed to indicate what‘s vegan and what‘s vegetarian. However, they didn’t really do a great job with making that clear 😅. Staff knows the differences, so if unsure, ask :).

Overall meh. It wasn’t very clear what was and wasn’t vegan. The flavors weren’t really anything special. It’s all made to taste very bland and they don’t offer sauce to add on as a side. It tasted a lot like the Indian microwave meals you can get at Rewe. The portions were really small

Today we tried the Vegano. We're fond of Indian cuisine, so we were excited. We had Samosa, which was OK. Second was spinach dosa (see picture), then Thali India (see picture). Last was Payasam, a sweet desert with sago pearls. All these three dishes were very tasty and with very different flavours, but still complemented each other beautifully.
Read moreThe food was reasonable priced and is quite a lot, so you don't leave hungry. The service was quick. The only thing I can see the need for improvement is if dishes were labeled vegan, vegetarian etc. Now you have to ask, which was still OK.
We will visit the place again.

Lo que comimos estaba rico, y un restaurante con comida con comida hindú que se llama Vegano en el centro de Bremen es como un imán. Pero ojo, solo tenían la carta en alemán, apenas sabían inglés y fue muy complicado elegir. Seguro que había otras opciones muy ricas que no pedimos porque no pudimos entender la carta.
