Fantastic burritos & chilaquiles! - Edit
Second visit. First time was a huge plate of Chilaquiles with an awesome scrambled tofu, and perfect tortilla strips. Just now had the Mole soy curl burrito which was incredibly flavorful and paired with their orange colored salsa was literally my favorite burrito in years. Daughter lover her seitan asada burrito too.

Best Vegan Mexican Food in Portland - Edit
I have tried their chile relleno, waffles, quesadillas, tamales, and carnitas tacos (my favorite!). All are wonderful! The texture and flavor of the carnitas tacos are the closest I have eaten to the actual carnitas meat tacos I used to eat before becoming vegan. As a Mexican-American, I am picky about my Mexican food when eating out, and this excellent taqueria tastes fully authentic and so very close to the non-vegan version of the cuisine. I have tried all the other exclusively vegan Mexican restaurants in Portland, and this is the best all-around (and the portions are great!). Highly, highly recommend!

Located on Hawthorne, this restaurant/ food cart with a covered outdoor seating area offers a great selection of vegan Mexican food. I had the mole soy curl taco and chile relleno burrito. The mole taco was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The burrito was huge and on promo for $7. I thought the burrito was pretty good but in the future I would get something without peppers as they aren’t to my personal taste. The person working was friendly and made the food fresh.

Well done all-vegan Mexican eats. Tried all the proteins and they’re excellent. Tangy salsa verde, fragrant mole, house-made tortillas and totopos. Awesome drinks — go for the tamarind/tajin slushie! Great service. Be advised, there’s nowhere to wash your hands.

I was so grateful to find a vegan Chile rellano! They are my absolute favorite and so hard to find as a vegan. I had the Chile rellano plate and my husband had the asada burrito! The portions were huge, the prices were good, and the atmosphere was cute.
