What a fabulous restaurant! Up some very steep stairs, but don’t let that put you off. So many options. We had dumplings and goulash.

We went for lunch and were all really happy with the food and cozy atmosphere. Our favourite dish was the Svíčková Sauce with the Bohemian dumplings.

Perfect location right next to the castle, amazing tasty traditional Czech food. Very friendly staff and brought water for our dogs. Very strong mulled wine 🍷 haha.

Nice place to try traditional czech qui - Edit
The location is great. Its close to Prague castle, but you do have to be able to walk to the second or third floor, so not very disability friendly.
Read moreThe staff was super nice, they seated me even though I had nö reservation and it was a bit busy. They explained the menu for me and described the daily special very well. The place was clean and the views abolutely stunning.
The food was good, I did get the daily special which was czech dumplings with some sort of seitan steak in tartar sauce. Im not a big fan of light/ cream-based sauces but I liked the food anyway, the sauce was tangy and a bit spicy. The dumplings and the meat were delicious as well, the flavour of the meat substitute was a bit smokey, but not in a hyperrealistic way. I liked it a lot, I just wish the piece would have been a bit bigger, as the sauce-to-food ratio was a bit too high.
I also had the matcha, which was alright. Not overwhelmingly good but not bad either. I didnt try dessert, but I saw some at the other tables and it looked delicious.
I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to try some locale cuisine during their stay.

Cons: Not disability friendly , Too much sauce (in my opinion)

Nice restaurant offering a couple of traditional check dishes and other international dishes. We had two starters and a main and everything was good, fresh and portions were big. The staff is very nice and speaks English. It’s a bit expensive but is because of the area I guess. In summer they have a nice terrace. I would suggest to make a reservation in advance specially during holidays.

Phenomenal Fun and Authentic - Edit
I’ve been in Prague for 3 days and most of the authentic food doesn’t have much for a vegan to choose from. But this restaurant did! The place was very nice with a lively and cozy atmosphere. From the rooftop window I could see Prague Castle just a few hundred meters away!

We ended up going here twice during our stay in Prague because the food was so good! It’s in a super convenient location for doing the touristy bits like the castle, so we were worried it would be busy, but there was plenty of space both times we visited (Friday and Sunday lunchtimes). It is up a surprising amount of stairs if you’re not prepared, but well worth it at the end! So great to be able to have traditional cuisine as a vegan, and it was absolutely delicious on top of that. The staff were also really nice. Best place we visited in Prague!

Such a lovely vegan restaurant with a varied selection of food. I was there with only non-vegans/omnivores and everyone loved the food. We tried the Burger, the daily special wich was a lentil moussaka, the zucchini lasagna and the svičková sauce. Everything was delicious!
