The pizza here is interstellar: with sophisticated flavor palettes that are at once rich, innovative and satsifying, with vegan cheeses that are creamy and delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant also transports, feeling unique and calming in the bustle of PV. Another favorite is the lovely flavored water they offer during dinner--so refreshing!

Cozy little restaurant with lots of charm. Food was absolutely delicious, especially the Jean Pierre pizza and the eggplant parmesan tower (the official name of which I can’t remember). They also made a mini pizza for my toddler which was incredibly sweet. I wasn’t expecting to eat such yummy vegan pizza in Mexico but am so glad we made it a point to come here.

We were thrilled with the food here, both manicotti and pizza (vegan). The menu has many options that can be served vegan. The staff was very friendly too. Near Malecón Art walk.

Will definitely return on our next visit!We had the vegan cheese board, amici pizza, lasagna and tiramisu. The flavors are clean and authentic. The service is phenomenal. Cinnamon water to start was a great touch. We didn’t have a chance to visit their shop but we will certainly will next time.

This place is so cute and romantic. It’s also spendy! They asked right away if I’m gluten free because they bring a bread bite with pesto, tomato, and olive oil balsamic sauces. They also keep refilling the best water carafe I’ve ever had. Cinnamon water (last year when I visited it was mint water and equally as delicious). I asked the waitress her favorite vegan pasta and she suggested the lasagna, so that’s what I had. It was delicious and filling!! I also took home the vegan tiramisu. Totally amazing. Highly recommend for a special night out. They also have a market next door that is perfect for groceries you may need. I went straight to the freezer for ice cream bars!

Clearly marked vegan options! We were dining with non vegans and the waiter repeated back to us who was vegan and who was not which was great. It’s a small place and the head chef comes out to visit which is always nice.

Vegan Italian in Puerto Vallarta - Edit
When we walked in we knew it was the right choice instantly we were asked if either of us were vegan or gluten free. How you answer this question means what kind of a snak they bring out for you right away. Ours was a polenta with pesto and a beet pesto kind of thing.

We ordered the mushroom appetizer it came with GF focaccia. The flavor was incredible.
Followed we got the GF vegan pizza Jean Pierre! The pizza was awesome such good crust for being gf and the vegan cheese was nice and creamy. There homemade chili oil has a really nice kick to it so be careful and make sure you don't use too much.
Highly recommend we will be back I really want to try the vegan lasagna next time and the vegan chocolate mousse! #Veganuary

Great choice for vegan Italian food - Edit
It was the first and the last. On our recent trip to Puerto Vallarta, after leaving the airport and making our way to Centro, my wife wanted to return directly to Veggitalia for dinner. On our way back to the airport, we had our lunch meal here, too. Chef Marco is a master of Italian vegetarian cuisine. The pizzas and salads are awesome. We had never tried any of the pastas but after reading a negative review about the pastas, we thought we had at least try one of the pastas to see if the review was accurate or just a one off. We had the manicotti and it was exquisite. Our favorite pizza is the Cinco Terra (sp?) and our favorite salad is the one with the pears. However, everything we have had has been exceptional. Check out the vegetable anti-pasta. Be advised that if you order the vegan cheese for your dish, they add a surcharge of 30 pesos as of March 2022. (If you are familiar with vegan cheese, you know that it is very expensive. However, they really should make it more transparent that you will be charged more.) Yes, the service is a little slow but hey!, you are in Mexico at an authentic Italian restaurant. What did you expect? Relax and savor every bite!
