Nice all round experiance

I visit Maidstone from time to time. It does not now have a vegan restaurant, so the options are. Vesuvius showed me a table with a plug, Wi-Fi and talked through the vegan options and what could be altered from the menu. I had the two-course lunch menu, not out stand but good.

But the whole day was good, visited on the £2 single bus tickets, also popped into The Skull which is a nice bar with vegan options - their burgers are particularly good but like everywhere they have had to reduce the range, name changed and added meat which was a hard thing for them to do, but now the debts built up are being paid off. Anyway, this review is not about the former Rainbow Skull, though they recommend Vesuvius.

The other picture is looking above the shopfronts at the lovely old buildings all over this very old town, they get lost under the fast traffic and dirt from it.
