Big portions are back! - Edit
I have been going to Watercourse Foods for over a decade. It's definitely a staple vegan restaurant for Cap Hill. I was disappointed for the past few years that the portions had gotten rather small, so I stopped going. I'm happy to say they have a new menu and the portions are back to being a good amount. I was so obsessed with the new Lions Mane chicken biscuit and I will be back for more.

Phenomenal - Edit
Absolutely phenomenal! We've eaten at vegan restaurants across the country and throughout Europe, and this restaurant is in our top 10. Definitely the best in Denver, hands down. Great atmosphere, customer service, and quality of food. Make sure this is your top must eat at restaurant when visiting Denver!

Vegan Home Cooking at it's best - Edit
My favorite restaurant in Denver is right here. Vegan Home Cooking at it's best. Conventionally located near Ogden Theatre as well as Twist and Shout Records. So if you want an awesome meal prior to seeing Nick Cave, Henry Rollins, or X than come here first before getting a cd and seeing a show.

Excellent! - Edit
I had the blackened tofu wrap and my friend, the Philly sandwich. Both were phenomenal. For dessert, we shared a chocolate shake and a pumpkin frosted cookie. This place is a ‘must-visit’ for any vegan visiting Denver and of course for Denver residents. I loved it! Oh and the service was great!

Good brunch! - Edit
I got the brunch plate and it was pretty good! The portion size was great and I had plenty of leftovers. The roasted potatoes were so good and their homemade chicken patty was also great. The scrambled tofu was okay, not super flavorful but better than most.

I also got the pumpkin chai latte and it was great.

Damn… - Edit
Only had time for one meal in town and chose Watercourse. Had the Classic Philly and it was fantastic. Wish I lived nearby so I could try other foods on the menu that also looked incredible!

Excellent happy hour - Edit
Just happened to get here for happy hour and it was an essential surprise! Ordered the Cuban, wings and a cocktail all for a cheap price. Cuban was deliciously mustardy with great texture on the seitan. Will definitely go again.

Great spot to take non-vegans - Edit
Impeccable service, great drinks, and vibe. Most of the dishes are imitation meats and vegan takes on classic comfort food which really helps introduce people to veganism. I got the cauliflower wings and orange teriyaki, both were delicious.

- Chicken and waffles - great. I subbed a house salad for the chicken which I was happy they could accommodate.
Read more- caramel milkshake - great.
They use sugar not refined with animal bone char! Though they snuck in a 7% extra gratuity charge on the receipt. Wasnt clear if that should be accounted for in the server tip. If they are going to try to mix up the paradigm, they should just raise prices and make it clear they pay everyone a liveable wage so tips are not reccomend, like other places do, and benefit from minimal turnover.

Normally I regret buying TOO MUCH at vegan places, here I regret not buying more - Edit
No one hyped up the Reuben like it deserved. Thats one of the best things I’ve eaten in my life!!!! I also got the breakfast sandwich and it was amazing. The chicken sandwich was good but not worth it when the Reuben was an option. The churro cannolis are unbelievable. I will go back anytime I’m ever even close to Denver.

It's good - Edit
I had to try this top vegan restaurant in Denver. Quesadilla filling was kinda odd, didn't seem very cheesy, but still tasty. Mac was alright. I really loved the maple Dijon salad dressing! Unfortunately I didn't get to have a cocktail but the hibiscus tea was refreshing. Restaurant is spacious and they have a bar. I ate at a weird time, like 2-3pm on a Friday, so they were not busy.

We walked from Downtown Denver on a weekday to enjoy lunch at Watercourse. It was worth the hot summer walk! The portions are great and each dish was delicious. The pickled celery with the Cauliflower Wings was a clever and tasty add on. 😋

Vegan OG, new menu smaller - Edit
Smaller menu removed some of my favorites. Still quality but some portion sizes are quite small given the prices. Shakes are fantastic. Seitan wings are a must order every time. Cocktail menu is creative.

Loved the variety of dishes. Hubby had the gyro and I had the Caesar and Mac n cheese. All were very good. The seitan in the gyro could have been more flavorful, but it was still really good. Friendly service and good vibe. Excellent cupcakes (the tres leches was to die for!-but luckily all vegan so nothing suffered)!!
