Excellent! - Edit
As an English tourist, New Orleans has been a place I was stressed about finding vegan options at. Little did I know I’d find the a huge variety of vegan options in whole foods!!! This is more than I’ve ever seen in an American super market. The only wish I have is that the prices were lower however that’s just an issue with the US as the vegan options are the same price as most of their non vegan alternatives
Read morePros: Variety of options , Amount of options, Location
Cons: Price could be lower (as with all American foods)

Ugh. - Edit
Ok. Vegan options are to be found, but don’t look for healthy or even tasty prepared foods. We have an overpriced and very small Whole Foods that lacks in choices and still reeks of an Amazon buyout. I wish I could say there were much better choices in the area for organic produce. In general not happy with what’s available in the area, so I shops at Whole Foods more often than I would like.

one of the better WFM i've been to - Edit
This is easily one of the best WFM I've been to- The selection isn't that great, but the staff here are the friendliest and most helpful of any WFM I've been to. The bakery is pretty big compared to the rest of the store and the produce section is also large. They have a large selection of vegan products in the refrigerated section including some rarer cheeze brands. The hot bar is used 50% ever- lots of empty spots- I guess it's not that popular, so not many vegan options there other than salad. The bakery has vegan options, some which are labeled, including some yummy vegan bagels.

Great new Whole Foods! - Edit
I really like this Whole Foods! It's smaller than the uptown one, but still great. It's set up very nicely and they often have vegan things that I can't get at the other one (more products from different brands, different products than the other one, etc) It's much less frustrating to park at this one too!

a GREAT find! - Edit
When travelling across the States (like I've said in other reviews) I find Wholefoods to be a bit of a saviour.
Read moreThis store has not long been open (less than a year) and has a fantastic selection of vegan options to get you through your stay in town!
Being a backpacker/ traveller whatever, I'm always after a mixture of food-to-go, chilled/frozen food for home cooking, snacks and treats! This store like all the others covers ALL of those areas, so made our trip in town much easier and gave us options. At the time, Seed had literally just opened and apart from Dreamy Weenies, there wasn't much else to go on (not that we could find in the city center, anyway).
Their vegan pizza option from the bakery/deli was decent and we bought a frozen one for the hostel. We bought vegan cake (my guilty pleasure!), chilled stuff for lunch, etc and I can't fault them!
