The view is good and menu has many veggie options. Taste was a bit basic to me.

Below average food, small portions

The best thing about this place is the juices & smoothies ...
Food however isn’t great , small portions and not very tasty .
The falafel bowl was literally few leaves of spinach in one corner of the plate , red cabbage in the other ,
Few small falafel bowls ...
Haloumi salad wasn’t great neither .
Better to go to an traditional middle eastern place and have hummus , moutabal...

Pros: Clearly marked vegetarian & vegan options, Clean place with ac

Cons: Overpriced, Below average food, Small portions

Wonderful food & save between 5-7pm

It's a long haul up quite a few hills to get to this restaurant, but it is definitely worth the effort. Clearly labeled menu indicating vegan and vegetarian dishes. Gorgeous outlook over Amman. It had been a chilly day, so we wanted hot food.

We both ordered the lentil soup which was warming and delicious. I seriously wanted to take a bath in it! I could have eaten a giant bowl (along with the tasty whole-grain bread which came with it) and been totally happy. I ordered the 'Lasagna' as an entree. The server was quick to warn me that it was all vegetables--no noodles. Layered eggplant, carrots, etc. It was a yummy work of art. My S.O. got the 'Vegetable Zoodles' which was another non-pasta dish served with a pesto sauce. Another winner. In addition, he had Turkish Coffee which was tasty, but too strong for me.

Highlights:
Excellent service--waiter spoke English well. Gorgeous outlook over Amman. Lovely and clean toilets.

Bonus: Dine between 5-7pm and receive 25% off your bill.

Note: My hubby left his hat at the restaurant, so we had to walk back up the hill the following morning. Luckily, the staff had found it and it was worth the trek.

Pros: Clearly marked menu & excellent food, Wonderful service, Lovely, clean bathroom

Cons: Long walk up the hill!!

Healthy vegan options

Clearly marked vegan options on the menu, and the servers understand questions about vegetarian and vegan ingredients. We went for lunch on a hot day and the had plenty of light, refreshing food and drinks. (The meat eating husband was happy too.)

Pros: Clearly marked vegan options, lots of teas

Beautiful location and building and healthy food

Wild Jordan Cafe is a beautiful place to sit, hang out with friends or relax. The views of Amman are stunning and the building is beautifully designed. Information about Jordanian wildlife and the work centres of the RSCN are available and there's a nice gift shop too.

The food is health focused and there are always vegan options available although this part of the menu could definitely be expanded.

They serve soy milk but we had a soy cappuccino and ended up paying a small fortune as they charged for the coffee and milk separately. This was about six months ago though so hopefully that has changed.

The staff are friendly but a little too formal for what I usually enjoy.

Pros: The views, The archetecture, The gift shop

Cons: Small vegan menu, Serves meat, Expensive (soy) coffee
