Best Korean Restaurant in Berlin! - Edit
One of the best Korean restaurants I have ever tried! Really tasty. All super lecker! Nice atmosphere. I have eaten a rice curry, maybe the best Korean! Always again! All workers are super gentil and try their best to solve problems. I would book a table before. They are busy!

Love it! - Edit
Went there for the third time now and all three times I had the noodles with black bean paste, which is to die for! Tried other vegan options on the menu, too, and loved all of them!

Good tasty food - Edit
Seeing the past reviews they have updated the menu, vegan dishes clearly marked (including the kimchi). I enjoyed a shiitake bowl with glass noodles and rice.

Updated menu with several vegan options - Edit
Average korean food with clearly labelled vegan options. 5,50€ for a one litre bottle of tap water is not acceptable though.

Vegan-friendly Korean place - Edit
One of my favorite lunch places. They recently updated their menu and now use vegetarian and vegan labels. They have plenty of vegan options (plus “vegan on request”) including vegan kimchi.

Delicious food! - Edit
I have been coming to this restaurant for a while and was a bit worried when I saw the devious here. After not coming for over a year, I had the pleasant surprise that they change the menu and now have the allergens. At least 2 of their standard options are already vegan!

The Kimchi is NOT veggie ! - Edit
I went there today again for the 3rd time and asked for another veggie dish with no egg and Kimchi on the side as I always do. The lady told my the Kimchi had fish sauce in it and I was quite choked because I had it several times before and they told me it was vegan ! So be careful, there are actually only 3 dishes that can be made 100% vegan. The food is good but i pointed out that fish sauce is definitely not vegetarian nor vegan (although it comes with EVERY veggie dish), and the waitress was really surprised that fish is not vegetarian. So be careful !

I went in for a quick bite on the way to the movies and was not disappointed. Maybe not many vegan options, but the staff is friendly and quick, and the food is good! Not expensive

Informal Korean Restaurant - Edit
The vegan options weren't marked on the menu, but the very friendly owner said that they would be able to veganize a number of dishes on the menu, so that made the vegan choice much wider.
Read moreWe had marinated spinach with sesame and gimbab (without egg) starters and Dubu Bokum main courses. Everything fresh and delicious.
Pros: Very Friendly staff, Happy to veganize where possible
Cons: No vegan dessert..., Vegan options not listed, you have to ask

Korean Food with just an okay taste. - Edit
I get lunch here sometimes for lack of vegan options in the area. I LOVE Korean food, it is my favourite food right next to Indian food. The food at YamYam is fresh and they serve homemade (not premade) dumplings and Kimchi. I can't say I'm particularly impressed as far as taste goes here, like most Asian food in Berlin, it is quite bland when compared to the same food on offer in other major cities. But at least the food at YamYam is a little bit spicy, if I can say anything about the taste. I wonder if they even use Gochujangyong gochugaru...The chili they use tastes a bit more like cayenne. I wish they would stop trying to cater to German tastebuds and offer a more authentic taste experience - I really miss Korean food! Service is okay. It is very busy at lunchtime. Prices are fair. Nice portions.
