We must have come on an off night or something because I usually really like Yifang, but this location didn't seem to cut it for us.
For starters, they were out of grass jelly and matcha, so we had to rethink some of our options. I ended up ordering an Oolong with Soy Milk and Boba ($6), while my partner went with a Pineapple Fruit Tea.
I was surprised that the boba was tiny... I suppose it's part of the branding but I wish it had said that somewhere before I ordered. Drink was decent overall. My partner's pineapple tea was not great though. It did not taste like pineapple and for a second, we had to check the receipt to make sure they didn't make us a different drink. Sure enough, it said pineapple.
With so many boba places in New York, finding one this decent means I likely won't be returning.
