Great vegan place

A truly vegan place, all items are vegan, also the cakes. Wish they had more chinese food, but it is mostly western food. Still a good place to go though! Had lovely cakes and a nice burrito with tempeh here. Order via wechat. To get here go into the hallway on the right of the mcdonalds, go into the elevator and go to the 23rd floor. The restaurant is directly there. No reservation needed. The view alone is worth it to eat here!

Very tasty food on top of Shenzen

Food was amazing, especially I was impressed by mango wrap. It was very tasty. The lady who runs it was very nice. It is a bit hard to find, on 23rd floor and no indication on the building itself. Enter next to mcdonald. Place is small but very nice. Food was quite original.

Pros: Tasry food, Nice service

Awesome Food, hard to find!

You have to use the elevator on the side of McDonald's! The way up is totally worth it, fresh and really delicious food & cakes!

Hidden gem

Once we figured out the access to the elevator for the 23rd floor was between the Mc Donald’s and the bakery we made our way to lunch with a great view of the local park. Prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious. The lady spoke enough English to help us. I suggest adding them on WeChat as the menu there is in English. We ordered the penne pasta and power bowl. No complaints at all. Of the two desserts the blue berry cheesecake was superior to the rainbow ice cream. However it’s apparent we enjoyed the ice cream based on what can best be described as a unicorn devastation 🤣

Pros: View was lovely, Staff super friendly , Food was delicious

Great western vegan food, location difficult

Go in the white building across the street (#89), take the elevator to the 5th floor, walk to block C, follow someone or get buzzed in to go to the elevators, up to floor 23, turn left, you’ll see it on the right down the hall.

Worth it if you’re craving vegan western food. This place is great

Amazing!

We visited here for my birthday and had the best treat and surprise! Delicious homemade chocolate, cheesecakes, pasta and PIZZA! A tough find in Hong Kong so it was great to have during our visit! Extremely friendly staff and certainly a homey and comfy place. You must go to building C in the complex (must first go to floor 5 in building B) then you can walk to C and take the elevator up- looks like residential buildings but you’re good!😉 #Veganuary

Impossible to find

First time I came here I spent about 25 minutes trying to find this place. And I’m happy I found it.

The place is tiny with few seats and people make reservations. So plan accordingly.

I had one of the best pesto pasta ever here. However I don’t love their menu options. Would love to see more options.

Pros: Use Alipay to scan menu and translate to English, Nice view from the cafe, Nice people

Cons: Tiny place, Impossible to find , Wish the menus was better

Lovely Staff and Excellent Food

Thanks to another reviewer, we found the restaurant easily. We ordered several menu items for the table and everything was delicious. The pizza's were excellent, and I especially recommend the pesto pasta!

I appreciated the attention to detail (such as the chef clarifying that we hadn't ordered too many drinks as we ordered 5 for a four-top), and in general the food came out quickly and at a good temperature.

We also took the opportunity while we were there to order a cake for a wedding the next day. The staff were super helpful and accommodating even though our venue was WELL out of the normal range for delivery. The cake was delicious and absolutely stunning. I could not recommend this restaurant more for any visiting vegans. the menu is varied and seemingly all delicious, the price is very reasonable and the staff are super friendly.

We unfortunately did not get any photos of the food we ate in house as we were all too hungry after walking Shenzhen all day, but we DID get photos of the custom cake (passionfruit). We also tried the chocolate cake and the tofu cheesecake and they were both, also, extremely delicious.

Pros: Excellent food, Excellent Value, Very friendly staff

Shenzhen’s Finest 🫡❤️

Bit tricky to get to - you have to follow the map directions (I used tencent as the map on here took me to the wrong place), take the elevator to the 5th floor, then walk to building C, take the elevator to the 23rd floor, then it’s in 2309. Lots of little businesses in this building.

The interior is well decorated and homely, great view, nice aesthetic. The menu is also great: pizzas, pasta, wraps, a burger, sandwiches - not so many of each that the choice is overwhelming, but they could do with a few more dishes/variations. There are also smoothies that are rly nice, and they have a good selection of vegan baked goods (bread, cakes).

The food is great. I particularly recommend the wrap that doesn’t have mango, the avocado and seitan pizza, and the rice bowl. The food is feels fresh and healthy. Nothing seems synthetic or manufactured. Nothing frozen and heated up in a microwave. It leaves you feeling satiated but still clean and healthy. Moreover, it seems to be ran by a family that are sweet and hard working, so it’s just a good vibe and somewhere nice to support.

For me this is the best kind of vegan restaurant. Good menu, clean but homely vibe, healthy food. There is no other such place in SZ that comes close. And much cheaper than other worse options.

It's in an office building with decent views and decent food, but it's a bit hard to find

My experience at Young Vegan was quite enjoyable. It was a great meal, particularly the oat noodles salad with a unique and fresh sauce that I believe had olive oil, black vinegar, mustard, and other ingredients. The noodles had a chewy texture that reminded me of Korean cold noodles. The vegan wraps were also delicious with a fresh and light taste that wasn't greasy, earning them a 5-star rating from me.

The tomato pasta with smoked tofu was decent, but the pasta was a bit soft (I found myself being picky about how soft or firm my pasta was lol). My favorite is the smoked tofu they had. Not sure if you'd like it XD. I tried a bit of the pumpkin soup, which was pretty thick and solid, and the salad with decent vinegar sauce. The bakery items also seemed quite tasty (would love to try them next time).

The only drawback was the location, which was somewhat difficult to locate. Although the shop was small, the view of the beautiful landscape made up for it. Overall, I highly recommend Young Vegan to those searching for fresh and vegan food in a stunning environment. I hope you have a pleasant time there, just as I did.

Hidden Gem

The food was amazing—especially the tiramisu cheesecake. They had nice bakery options for sale as well; I will definitely try out a loaf of the Japanese milk bread in the near future. I never thought I’d get to enjoy vegan pizza without leaving Guangdong, so for that alone I’d give 4 stars. They also offer some bowls and pasta. I went closer to closing, so some menu options weren’t available, but a lot was. The only thing stopping me from trying more was the size of my stomach. The Basque cheesecake also looked amazing, and I’m sure I’ll try it out next time. The biggest drawback is it is hard to find/get to; not conducive to popping in for a quick bite (although service was prompt) just because you have to go through a mini labyrinth to get there. I killed 30 minutes trying to find the correct entrance before looking them up on WeChat. ***Make sure to find their official account on WeChat, so you can watch a video for how to get there. It’s really the only way.😹

Pros: All vegan , Unique menu (pizza, cheesecake, bowls), Gracious service

Cons: Really hard to find

Date Place!

We always meet friends here or make new ones. The place is quite small and we come here quite often. It has lots of natural lighting and great service. Female owned, they offer a cozy environment with beautiful dishes. Sometimes the ice cream is too frozen to cut through, but aside from that, the pasta, pizza, dumpling soup, salads, and smoothies are all very good. I really enjoy their food and freshly baked breads. Careful for allergens. The wraps are made with Hao Foods’ chikn and it’s made of peanut protein. They are careful now to tell their guests.

Pros: Knowledgeable staff, Female owned, Great variety

Cons: Limited seating
