Organic vegan restaurant opened 2013 replacing the previous restaurant Nova. Meals are based on macrobiotic principles with vegetables sourced from its own farm as well as other local producers. Example of dishes: quinoa salad, bbq seitan cordon bleu, penna pasta, falafel, and baked tofu. Smoothies, tea, coffee, ice cream, cakes and other desserts available. English is spoken and on the menu. Offers two rooms of seating. Open Mon-Sat 12:00-21:30. Kitchen open 12-9pm. Closed Sun.

We had the Gomoku and the kidney bean stew, both delicious. The watermelon spritz was also really good, staff was very friendly and the place is really nice. Only the dessert (called "veiled farm girl") was a tiny bit disappointing, I would go for something else next time. Recommend for anyone looking for a vegan meal in Zagreb!

Well even back home in the US it's becoming harder to find actual vegetables—everything is imitation meats and piles of wheat. This place is still kinda heavy on the "protein" & carbs but the tempeh/quinoa bowl I ordered had actual vegetables in it! Picked onions, shredded carrots, and some broccolini, in good quanity. The peanut sauce complemented everything perfectly.
Read moreI went back a second time, and got the miso-sesame soup (more like a stew, very hearty), the Gomoku bowl (minus seitan), and a slice of tofu lemon cake. Everything was outstanding. This place was worth splurging on twice.

We were in a hurry to catch the train from Zagreb to Austria and we went by foot to this vegan rest and ordered 2 pastas to eat on the train, they were both delicious and full of flavour. Friendly staff. I wish I had more time to try the other dishes...

My favourite meal in Zagreb - Edit
The Kidney Bean stew was absolutely delicious. It was nicely filling without being too heavy, and all the ingredients were grown in Zrno's own farm.

Last ate here 8 years ago and was glad to discover it is still ace! I had a seitan sandwich with a very fresh vegetable filling and sweet potato fries - just what I needed in the heat, tasty and not too heavy. My friends were pleased with the cordon bleu and the quinoa buddha plate. The pickle plate appetizer was amazing too. Special kudos for the very kind staff. Recommended!

Staff is very friendly, food is very decent and fresh. We had a pickled tray, seitan cordon Bleu, buddha bowl and salads. There's a garden. The pumpkin spice latte with actual pumpkin was a nice surprise.

We had the seitan cordon bleu which was absolutely delicious! As a dessert we got the Hungarian Cake with 2 scoops of ice cream which was amazing too. If we would've stayed in Zagreb longer we would've definitely returned to try more things on the menu!

We loved everything we ordered (breaded Tofu, Miso-Soup, bread with dips, rice-dish with greens and tofu). The desert (brownie with vanilla icecream and nuts) was one of the best we ever had!!!

I have been here a couple of times, and both times the food was great. The menu offers a nice variety of plant-based dishes. The ones I tried were very tasty and filling, and they were also quite original. I would have liked to pass by more times to try out some more dishes.

The prices are fair, especially given the fact that the food is organically grown, which is a great plus in my opinion.
