After giving this resto several chances to get it right we stopped going there, especially as there is now far better and cheaper in Paris. This review mirrors what we experienced several times. How anyone can state that the salty food was a one time error.... ? What, so you are present everyday, surveying everyone's meal? Nonsense of course! Whether the food here is bland or not is completely subjective. The simple fact is that the standard of the cooking is very poor. Yes, over or undercooked vegetables. Yes, excessive (or even under)use of salt and certainly an amateurish use of herbs and spices. They simply can't cook here. It is entirely unacceptable to say "well, this or that dish is meant to be bland" I've never heard of any dining out experience where you would choose to eat bland food. Risible! Concerning the service, I am perfectly bilingual and the waiter and the owner have both been unfriendly, unhelpful (bordering on impolite) in both french and english. And don't dare return a dish complaining of the quality or lack of taste....... By the way, I am a vegan cook with 20 years experience of eating in Paris.
