I'm lacto-vegetarian (for 25+ years), not fully vegan, so I didn't look further into it. I add places with vegetarian options as I find them (been doing this all over the world -- 7 Asian countries last year), and often those options are actually vegan, but yeah you would want to clarify -- and hope the staff understand what vegan means.
