Casa Madal is indeed run by students of Sri Chinmoy. However this meditation organisation is not considered a sect in Europe, where I live. They offer free meditation classes as part of an ancient tradition of ' selfless service', similiar to the idea of 'voluntary work' in the West. They offer people from all walks of life the opportunity to learn and benefit from meditation. Having attended their classes in the past, I can say that , in my opinion, they do not manipulate people. Quite the opposite, they are friendly and genuine people.
