I've been Vegetarian on and off for a bout 10 years. I started eating meat again when I moved to Italy and found it incredibly hard to avoid it (their meat agriculture is far more ethical than in the UK and try explaining you can't eat meat in a language you can't use). So yeah, eating meat in the UK is awful for many reasons (environmentally, ethically, health reasons, processed S**t).
