In 1980, I wrote and published "The Chicago Green Pages: A Guide to Dining and Shopping in the Chicagoland Area" (Chicago Review Press). From 1980-1987 I was the President of the Chicago Vegetarian Society, and co-organized many Thanksgiving dinners with Vegetarian Times magazine.
