Family of wholefood plant based vegans. Although animal welfare has always been important to me it was health reasons that gave me the push from vegetarian to vegan. In the family we have various food allergies, a cancer patient, severe asthmatic, diabetic and for a couple of us too may extra pounds! Making the move to vegan has already paid off in real measurable terms with several medications dropped, blood tests improved and many kilos lost along the way! Currently also working on building up more family recipes that appeal to toddlers and are good for weaning.
