Granola with Nuts and Seeds

    Instructions

    Use un-salted nuts.
    In a large bowl, stir all ingredients together and pour evenly into a roasting pan.
    Bake at 200F degrees for 3 1/2 hours, stirring every 20 minutes. Remove granola immediately and place into a container.
    Variation: Reduce sweetener as desired; or use other kinds of nuts and seeds.

    Ingredients

    2 cup rolled oats (not quick-cooking)
    1/2 cup pistachio nuts
    1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
    1/2 cup macadamia nuts
    1/2 cup almonds
    1/2 cup melted vegetarian margarine or oil
    1/2 cup brown raw sugar

      This is a great recipe for homemade granola. The only drawback is that it takes a long time and you have to keep an eye on the oven. Otherwise, the granola is a delicious treat.
