Wash berries, remove leaves, and pat dry.
Place strawberries, sugar, lemon juice and zest into a deep pan.
Bring to boil while stirring. Cook for 15-20 minutes until you get a desired consistency.
Let cool before you fill the jam it in a glass jar. Refrigerate.
