Ooh pizzas! - Edit
We were there and absolutely enjoyed! Everything was super goooood. Prices were 9,5-15,5€/ pizza, but worth every penny! Desserts- you must try ice cream with olive oli and salt❤️ Service was excellent.

Solid, tasty, Neapolitan - Edit
Lecker, lecker, lecker. It's all vegan, but you wouldn't know it unless someone tells you. Probably the most creative vegan pizza toppings I've seen so far. The pizzas are very tasty and have a good size - sometimes places make them too small or too big, but Al Catzone gets it right. I had the Diavola pizza and an Affagato.

Tasty pizza. It's located near a big housing area. So a bit different to the more hip streets of Kreuzberg. I liked the relaxed atmosphere at the outside tables under the trees.

I’m a bit disappointed…waited 15 minutes to place the order because they forgot about us. The waitress apologized to us but the service didn’t get any better. You could notice that they were a little stressed out, mixed orders from different customers. The menu was very “special”. There are no “normal” pizza types to choose…the pizza and bruschetta were delicious but nothing amazing. And the service was disappointing unfortunately…

Read moreTaking into account that we ordered home delivery I am aware that the pizza probably would have been better fresh at the restaurant but sadly I did not like it. I had the “Lizzo” pizza with tomato sauce, cheese and basil and it was just off. The vegan cheese was hard and crunchy and I only got like 3 basil leaves. I definitely had so much better vegan cheese at other pizza restaurants so I was a bit surprised about this one.
I might try the restaurant another time and then sit and order at the spot but home delivery was not good (living around 2 km away).

Good pizzeria, needs better organization - Edit
Pizzas were good, lot's of variety. The waitress was nice and his recommendation was wonderful.
Read moreBut they need more organization and more waitresses, since many customers were waiting for 10-20 minutes to just get their order taken (you could clearly see the impatience in their faces), and some tables from previous customers where not cleared after 30 minutes later.
We also noticed that, in the kitchen, they forgot to add an ingredient to one of our pizzas (that was already cooked); so they cooked it alone in the oven and then added it to the pizza (that was waiting and cooling outside). Again, more organization could solve issues like this one.
Finally, the bottom of the pizzas were full of burned flour from the oven, so they should brush off the base of the oven from time to time. Otherwise the burned flour of each pizza accumulates in the oven, and the last pizzas of the day will be full of it. Burned flour is not nice for taste and health reasons.
With more organization, this restaurant can become a 5 star and a reference for vegan cuisine in Berlin.

Die Pizzen sind etwas außergewöhnlich. Waren gut, aber zu kalt. Könnte am überforderten Service gelegen haben. Wir haben grundsätzlich in Berlin festgestellt, dass gutes Servicepersonal schwer zu finden ist. Dieser sprach noch nicht mal deutsch, wie peinlich!

In a world where everyone seems to prefer thin dough pizza, I go in the opposite direction and absolutely love Neapolitan pizza and this one in particularly is incredible. It’s definitely a place where you can take your Italian friend (even if non vegan) and he/she will cry for more.

Me and my kid were very excited about this 100% vegan place, the super reviews and the variety of pizzas. The two waitresses were friendly, but the one for our table was very stressed in addition, it was 20:30-20:45. The place wasn't crowded and most customers were already served. We ordered rapidly a pizza, a big salad and two drinks. They sadly didn't have the happy balls. I came to her after a minute, to ask for truffle oil on top of the pizza.
Read moreAfter 1 hour without any drink or food (21:45), I went to the waitress, and when she saw me she realized she forgot us. She was really sorry and asked if we still wanted to eat, they can make it really fast. We stayed and waited for ten minutes more, while they served our drinks, and some bread I politely refused, as we wanted to eat what we ordered. She left the bread on the table saying in case we were hungry after finishing what we ordered. I answered we will probably have dessert if we are still hungry.
Then the order came. Looking regular, nothing spectacular. The border of the pizza was a bit burnt in some places but all the rest of the complete pizza was extremely floppy and thin. The amount of cheese was poor. We didn't detect any drop of the truffle oil. The general taste was good, not exceptional. The salad was average.
We got up as soon as we finished, to pay at the counter, as it was late for my kid. The waitress didn't say anything then about what happened, and asked for the normal amount. That was the moment I stopped being understanding. I said politely that I would appreciate a gesture as we waited for more than an hour. She just said sorry, sorry. I paid and said again that it wasn't a good commercial point, she just repeated sorry. We just left like that as I didn't have any energy to complaint more. But I regret it.
We are so much disappointed.
The only good thing was the Fritz-limo Apfel-Kirsch-Holunder, low in sugar.

Delicious pizzas and creative menu - Edit
I really liked Al Catzone, it has an eclectic decor and welcoming staff. The pizza oven is visible from the restaurant and where we were sat we could see the pizzas being made. They also have a corner with items for sale including t-shirts and pasta.
Read moreThey have a great menu with lots of options and lots of interesting and creative dishes. We went for two pizzas – "Kirby" (pumpkin cream based) and "Arnold" (the special of the day – pureed parsnips based). We also went for the "Happy Balls" (tomato arancini).
I really enjoyed both pizzas – the flavours were just really different and creative, and really delicious! My personal favourite out of the two was the Arnold but they were both great. I also really enjoyed the Happy Balls!

Didn't like the dough :/ - Edit
The lasagna is here listed as an appetizer, so it's quite small and expensive for its size. Nevertheless, it tasted very good. I also ate a piece of two different pizza and I have to say I really don't like the dough! It was really tough/chewy, maybe it is supposed to be like that, but I prefer to actually be able to chew it nicely.

Saranno anche dei Catzoni ma la pizza è la loro arte. Un impasto così buono non è così scontato da trovare, neanche a Napoli. Cottura perfetta, impasto leggerissimo morbidissimo e pieghevole appuntino. La seconda chicca sono i condimenti: le zucchine alla scapece erano come quelle fatte in case e la stessa cosa vale per le melanzane. Peccato non averle potute provare tutte! Considerata la ricercatezza degli accostamenti il prezzo è equo. Complimenti.
