Das Al Catzone vermittelt den Besuchenden einen authentischen italienischen Charme. Die Pizza-Varianten sind vielfältig und reichen von klassisch bis ausgefallen. Der Teig ist fluffig mit dickem Rand und der Belag selbst gemacht (spicy Salami). Alles in allem ein tolles geschmackliches Erlebnis mit angenehmen Ambiente.

Best Neapolitan Vegan Pizza in Berlin - Edit
I didn't expect to find such a fantastic Neapolitan pizza outside of Italy, but I was greatly surprised. I got a Super Diavola with vegan salami and a very spicy chili sauce -luckily!- on the side. The pizza is huge, and normally, it's one pizza per person. With all the toppings, though, I wasn't able to eat a dessert afterwards. Next time, I would share a pizza and a dessert with at least another person (the Nutella sweet thing looked so good!). The texture of the mozzarella was not as good as the rest of the elements on the pizza. If I were the owner, I would try other brands or formulas to make it melt better. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant has plenty of tables, indoors, and outdoors. We got there early on a weekday and were served fast (not sure how it is late at night or on the weekends). Will definitely come back my next time in Berlin!

The staff was a bit lost, in a charming way.
Inside, the air was slightly stuffy. Maybe because it just had rained and also the pizza oven sits in the same area. Anyways, there are also lots of tables outside.
At first, I also perceived the music to be too loud, more than just jazzy background noise. But once you get used to the relaxed electronic tunes, you actually start vibing. Perhaps a glass of wine also had a hand in it.
To sum it up: great experience.

We loved this place a lot! The staff is nice and they have enough options in pizzas and desserts. We especially liked the Bruce pizza (with vegan tuna) and the caramel cat and tiramisu. The G&T and Spritzs were also very tasty.

Amazing place, worthy of the hype. High quality of ingredients and thoughtful flavor combinations (house made vegan cashew mozzarella!!!). My only regret is that I couldn’t eat three more pizzas (theyre quite generous for one person). Friendly staff. Slightly pricy but worth every cent.

Lecker, lecker, lecker. It's all vegan, but you wouldn't know it unless someone tells you. Probably the most creative vegan pizza toppings I've seen so far. The pizzas are very tasty and have a good size - sometimes places make them too small or too big, but Al Catzone gets it right. I had the Diavola pizza and an Affagato.

Al Catzone is surely a must-stop if you're in Berlin and like pizza. Also check out the merch shop - it has a few very nice vegan goodies.

Tasty pizza. It's located near a big housing area. So a bit different to the more hip streets of Kreuzberg. I liked the relaxed atmosphere at the outside tables under the trees.

I’m a bit disappointed…waited 15 minutes to place the order because they forgot about us. The waitress apologized to us but the service didn’t get any better. You could notice that they were a little stressed out, mixed orders from different customers. The menu was very “special”. There are no “normal” pizza types to choose…the pizza and bruschetta were delicious but nothing amazing. And the service was disappointing unfortunately…

Read moreTaking into account that we ordered home delivery I am aware that the pizza probably would have been better fresh at the restaurant but sadly I did not like it. I had the “Lizzo” pizza with tomato sauce, cheese and basil and it was just off. The vegan cheese was hard and crunchy and I only got like 3 basil leaves. I definitely had so much better vegan cheese at other pizza restaurants so I was a bit surprised about this one.
I might try the restaurant another time and then sit and order at the spot but home delivery was not good (living around 2 km away).

Good pizzeria, needs better organization - Edit
Pizzas were good, lot's of variety. The waitress was nice and his recommendation was wonderful.
Read moreBut they need more organization and more waitresses, since many customers were waiting for 10-20 minutes to just get their order taken (you could clearly see the impatience in their faces), and some tables from previous customers where not cleared after 30 minutes later.
We also noticed that, in the kitchen, they forgot to add an ingredient to one of our pizzas (that was already cooked); so they cooked it alone in the oven and then added it to the pizza (that was waiting and cooling outside). Again, more organization could solve issues like this one.
Finally, the bottom of the pizzas were full of burned flour from the oven, so they should brush off the base of the oven from time to time. Otherwise the burned flour of each pizza accumulates in the oven, and the last pizzas of the day will be full of it. Burned flour is not nice for taste and health reasons.
With more organization, this restaurant can become a 5 star and a reference for vegan cuisine in Berlin.

Die Pizzen sind etwas außergewöhnlich. Waren gut, aber zu kalt. Könnte am überforderten Service gelegen haben. Wir haben grundsätzlich in Berlin festgestellt, dass gutes Servicepersonal schwer zu finden ist. Dieser sprach noch nicht mal deutsch, wie peinlich!
