This place is too good to be true. The breakfast burritos were perfect, saucy, easy to eat, and perfectly portioned. Seasoning was amazing. The lattes were so cozy and good. And don’t get me started on the donuts! FREAKIN AMAZING. we got the Boston Creme, chocolate sprinkles, maple glazed (so light and airy sweet), and cinnamon sugar. Plenty of seating even with the brunch crowd coming in on Sunday. Honestly if I lived around Albany, I’d be here every week. A MUST GO

I loved [censored] Donuts so much I went two days in a row while I was in Albany! The donuts are creative and delicious! The breakfast and lunch sandwiches are even better! The only thing I didn't love was the mac n cheese... just a little greasy for my taste. Everything else was a 10/10!

The donuts were so tasty. All of us were over the moon with our choices. The donuts are both gorgeous and delicious! The staff is super friendly and we can’t wait to go back. We couldn’t pick just one, so we got a dozen and were surprised how long they stayed fresh!

We stopped a few times when they were in Glens Falls. Our first time since they moved to Albany. Well worth the additional time on a 7 hour road trip.

Yes, the donuts are amazing. Especially the cream filled ones (blueberry Boston creme ftw!!!). But don’t sleep on the beverages; my fav was the iced dirty chai with oat milk. Get a large; you won’t regret it! Next time I’m in town I plan to try their savory bites.

While in NYC there’s a few decent donuts choices the rest of NY state doesn’t offer so much, Albany is a great exception, and it makes perfect sense an amazing place like this exists! Boston Cream are absolutely perfection. You can’t leave this place without a box of them.

Baby’s First Donut!!! - Edit
Have been looking for a soy free vegan donut for 15 months & found this Mecca while passing through Albany! They had 5 soy free flavors out of about 15, and every one was amazing - our faves were the eggnog (Christmas in July flavor) and their simple but perfect vanilla. These flavors will always be changing as their menu changes weekly. Their classic Mac was also soy free & so good, and most of the appetizers (fried) were soy free as they cook in peanut oil, in case you also have an allergy like my little one. He LOVED his first donut, as did we, and the bonus was I took extras to my extremely picky & dairy loving nephew who was equally obsessed - what a testament! Last thing I’ll say; the cranberry lemonade was SO refreshing… it was a special but worth coming back to.

I had an amazing Boston cream donut and another glazed to go. I love the art work outside and in, they've done a great job with the space and it's in a great location on Lark Street, the vegan epicenter of the capital district and all of upstate NY! This place has more than just donuts and I'm looking forward to trying their lunch and breakfast offerings.

The donuts here are phenomenal—this cannot be overstated! They’re generously-sized, delicious, and the texture is wonderfully fluffy. The flavors rotate through a wide variety of classic and new ones on a weekly basis, and the lineup for the upcoming week is posted on Instagram and Facebook. Be advised, if you go there towards the end of the day or in between when batches come out, your selection of what’s left may be limited because they are very popular!

Parking can be a challenge on Lark St. but there’s usually parking in nearby Washington Park.

Birch Bark rises from the ashes in Albany! - Edit
Finally got to stop here. Always loved loved loved Birch Bark and was heartbroken when they closed, but seldom made it up to Glens Falls for them anyway. Now [censored]’ Donuts on Lark Street in Albany, they’re back and better than ever. I’ve only gotten doughnuts here so far, but they are among the best doughnuts in the entire country, especially their flawless Boston Creams. Small but really cool indoor seating.

Really cute place with about 15 rotating flavors. Ordered the strawberry frosted, chocolate sprinkle, and French toast roll. Strawberry frosted was our favorite. French toast roll was also delicious. Chocolate sprinkle was lacking flavor and the sprinkles were too hard which is why they got 4 stars instead of 5. Staff was also very friendly.

My husband and I stopped here during a road trip to Toronto. We picked up the orange creamsicle donut and chocolate sprinkle donut. Both were delicious! The donuts are light and fluffy and they aren't oily/greasy.

We got two dozen doughnuts for my child’s 3rd birthday party and they were a HUGE hit with the vegans and non-vegans alike. The flavors are perfectly complimentary and the decorating is hugely creative. I highly recommend stopping in and bringing non-vegans too!
