Favorite meal so far in Paris - Edit
We got the omakase for 2 with gyoza, miso soup and a variety of rolls. Everything was so good I almost cried. Our favorites were the curry katsu frit, the pleurote tempura, the kimbap, and nasu miso flambée. This is the best vegan sushi we’ve ever had.

Coming from SoCal this was definitely a different take on vegan sushi. We walked into this restaurant on a very rainy, busy night. It was extremely crowded so we sat at the bar. We ordered some dumplings, miso soup, and a deep fried sushi roll. The dumplings only came with 3 pieces. I noticed the portion sizes in Paris were a lot smaller than what I’m used to back in Cali.

Bloom Sushi offers an unequivocal selection of top-quality sushi and maki. The place is classy, pleasant and quiet. I really liked the miso soup, gyozas and makis, a little less the dessert. But all in all, it's excellent and well worth the trip and the rather high prices. The staff were pleasant and the whole experience quite enjoyable.

Wow, plant-based Sushi at its best - Edit
We had the single menu, avocado and philadelphia sushi and the Mont Blanc as desert. Super friendly service, food came fast and the ambience was nice. Definitely recommend visiting the place!

This place deserves its reputation. It serves a wide menu of sushi (and other Japanese inspired dishes) of different kinds, very colourful, creative and tasty. They look and taste delicious. A joy for the eyes and the palate.

We went here on the first evening of our trip and wow, our expectations for other plant based restaurants in Paris are high now! Blooms sushi tasted and looked so good we forgot to take pictures! The staff is professional and friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant is magical. Would definitely recommend this place to be a must visit!

Read moreThe only cons: they mixed up our makis in the plates without respecting the order and so, we had to get back what each person had ordered from the other's plate; not very convenient!
Also, the waitress was a bit pressuring us at the end whereas we still had 15 min left before the end of the reservation (2h-waiting time for the dishes).

I could cry thinking about this place 🤣 ate here on Saturday 1st April 2023, food was outstanding, service was fabulous, nothing could be improved upon. I got a spicy margarita which I'd thoroughly recommend.
Read moreWe ordered TONS and ate it all...the girl taking the order said we could easily take away a doggy bag if need be but there was no way, it was too easy to eat everything. Have added photos with our choices but honestly I don't think you could go wrong with anything. Definitely book in advance. Total heaven!

I went in November 2022 and thought it was excellent and was in a rush to go back. Finally had the chance recently and I found the quality to be much lower. The food isn’t bad but for the price, I’m not sure. Maybe it was just an off night.

The food is great. They have some very interesting, original rolls (I had one which included kimchi and almond flakes). Wonderful gyoza. The mushroom tartar was a treat.

We went right after the opening date in January and were absolutely amazed, very creative food, on the slightly expensive side but so worth it! We returned a month after and the portions had been divided in half for the same price, we had to order twice of what we did last time to feel full and, consequently, paid double… a bit disappointing.

Best sushi restaurant in town - Edit
I’ve chosen that restaurant for my Birthday celebration and Bloom Sushi didn’t disappoint! Menu is 95% vegan (only cheesecake and another chocolate cake are not vegan and it’s mentioned in the menu). We liked everything about this new restaurant in Paris: it’s vibe, decorations inside, large terrace with outdoor seats, very polite, helpful and friendly staff and, of course, all dishes that we tried (we’ve ordered plenty of them 😅). So, we’ve tried gyodza with peanut sauce for the stater and then ordered around 4 different kind of sushi, including maki, Philadelphia and crunchy rolls. My favorites are makis with truffle cream (and crispy onion topping 🤌), crispy Katsu sushi (like katsu curry but in sushi form, what could be better?) and rolls with spinach (please people try their spinach rolls, they are just mind blowing because I’ve never imagined that sushi spinach combination can taste THAT good!!). For drinks we opted for Paris Tokyo mule and Sake with prunes. As for me, mule was on the bitter side of the taste, but went especially well with crunchy-fried sushi. Sake was delicious on its own and went well with homemade ice cream matcha mochi (10/10, pronounced matcha flavor), that I’ve had for the dessert. All in all, I think Bloom is the best place for vegan sushi in Paris and I can definitely say that I will be coming back again and again, but I’d like to believe that they will fix their dessert menu to be 100% vegan place!

I’ve been to the Bloom twice: on a regular day and on a special Valentine’s Day dinner with special menu. I really enjoyed all the dishes and pleasant, soothing ambience on the regular day with regular menu. But I can’t say the same about Valentine’s Day dinner - it felt like it wasn’t worth the price: nearly half of the announced sushi rolls for the main course were just spring rolls with beetroot and rice with very bland and pronounced beet taste. The dessert was a complete disappointment: just piped chocolate cream with store bought (!) whipped topping and sprinkle of rice crisps and very shy drizzle of caramel. I even can’t call it a proper dessert in a restaurant, I would have never ordered and paid for it if it wasn’t included in the menu. I hope that in the future they will keep just serving mochis.
