Bodhi hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war super, vegane herzhaftes Gerichte ohne Schnickschnack. Auf kleine Sonderwünsche wurde ohne Probleme Rücksicht genommen. Der Preis ist etwas höher, die Portionen dafür aber groß.

German food in an intersting location - Edit
We finally made it to Bodhi end of December 2023 on a Saturday. We had booked a table for 5 pm, but it seems that it wouldn't have been necessary. We were seated in the upper room which felt a bit strange. We would have preferred the room downstairs which felt livelier, with the bar and everything. Anyway, we had the gyros and the duck and the food was really good! Though quite pricey unfortunately, or we would come more often. We had the Germknödel as a dessert which was really good, too, and inspired us to finally make our own at home.😄We have said we definitely need to come back in the summer because the Biergarten looks really nice. It was so lovely to have a full menu of vegan dishes to choose from and to be able to order the classics again. Definitely coming back!

Das Bodhi liegt versteckt in einem Hinterhof einer Villa , allein das Restaurant selbst hat etwas magisches. Das Essen war so unglaublich gut und alle Menschen waren unfassbar freundlich.

I loved their vegan interpretation of German traditional dishes. It's quite a challenge to convert the meaty and cheesy German cuisine into delicious plant-based options and in my opinion they passed with flying colours.
Read moreI had the Bodhi special -a crispy soy "steak" with braised red cabbage and apple and a potato dumpling. My mum had cheesy Spätzle (not sure if there is a translation). For desert we shared a portion of Kaiserschmarrn with apple compote, but we had to take a lot of it home because they were very generous with all portion sizes. Everything was reeaaaally good AND self-made AND affordable!
The place has a very nice outside sitting area with big trees and fairy lights and the staff was super friendly as well.
Couldn't recommend more!

The restaurant is based in a lovely garden in walking distance to the castle. The menu has lots of appealing options, and we wanted to try everything but eventually settled for the chef's special 'Bodhi Pfanne' and filled pasta dumplings. Very good! We'll be back

All the Bavarian/German dishes one sometimes craves, but cannot have anymore. I liked their creations and the portion size. Also that some dishes come with a salad, so you at least get some veggies with the more heavy mock meat focused meals.
