We went there for breakfast and we tried a selection of donuts which are good but really not so amazing.

The choice of vegan donuts is absolutely amazing, it was so difficult to choose which ones to try. At the end of the day we had the chocolate peanut fudge and the maple smoked coconut, which were fluffy and not too sweet. Really delicious. The iced matcha latte (made with oat milk) proved to be a fresh complement and the perfect drink for a hot Summer day.

Brammibal offers fully vegan donuts (between 2.5 and 3 euros a piece, a bit cheaper if you order 4 or more donuts) in a cozy cafe in one of the trendiest areas in Berlin.
Read moreThe donuts look amazing, the toppings are colorful and make it very difficult to decide between the different varieties as they all look equally enticing. Unfortunately, the taste is good but not as wonderful as the visual aspect of the donuts. The frostings have similar tastes, and the different flavors are way too mild to be distinguished properly.
The peanut butter and jelly donut is the exception to this rule, with the contrast between the salty butter and the sweet filling making it one of the best options.
It is worth trying but being expensive I don't know if I would go regularly.

Wir waren hier an einem Freitag recht spät kurz vor Ladenschluss und haben daher nur noch zwei Sorten der Donuts erhascht: Chocolate Red Wine und Chocolate Chili. Beide waren sehr lecker - vor allem die Schokoladen-Chili-Variante war perfekt und schmeckte angenehm und nicht zu scharf.

I had the Lemon Earl Grey doughnut and I loved it! I would have loved to try more flavours. I highly recommend. It's also in a great area, on Wednesday, Friday and weekends it is right in front of the Turkish Market.

All my husband wanted from my Berlin trip were some Brammibal's donuts. So I took on the quest and brought him 4 delicious Brammibals donuts - they survived a night in the hotel room and the 7h train ride home AND they still tasted HEAVENLY when my hubby finally got to eat them :-)

Looks great, but didn't meet up to the expectations - Edit
We arrived at closing time. They were already packing everything, but we were told we could still have a "surprise box" (= 4 donuts of their choice). Unfortunately the donuts themselves didn't really meet up to our expectations: the dough didn't have much taste, and neither did most of the toppings, so they actually were quite boring. Only one of the 4 had a kind of salty, umami tasting topping that made it interesting. We had no idea what it was, since it was in a surprise box without any explanations. Still, we had better vegan donuts in our little hometown, so it's disappointing that this is among the best that Berlin has to offer.

Do yourself a favor and give this place a visit. It has great seating, delicious coffee and most importantly a great selection of tasty donuts. I enjoyed the chocolate sea salt donut, smoked maple coconut bacon donut, earl grey donut (which I think was seasonal) and the salted hazelnut caramel donut. ALL were delicious. The donuts themselves are some of the best vegan donuts I’ve had (and I’ve eaten a lot)

It’s probably a good thing I don’t live in Berlin because I couldn’t resist these donuts on a regular basis. They are exactly like the donuts I used to love before I went vegan (no idea how they do it!).

Delicious vegan donuts, with many options to choose. The hazelnut donut was the best. Coffee was great too, and the decoration of the place was really nice. Also the employees were helpful and kind!!

I found this place before my trip to Berlin and I was super excited when we finally went there. We had the grilled cheese tomato sandwiches and nougat donuts and it was amazing. The donuts weren’t outstanding, but maybe I should’ve picked an other flavour, but the sandwiches were the best vegan cheese sandwiches I’ve had. I’m very happy

I rarely eat “unhealthy” vegan stuff like donuts, but I heard this place was outstanding so I went to try it. I got a chocolate filled donut with a white cat on top made of almond paste (can’t remember the name of that dessert right now). The cat was by far the best part! The donut filling did some weird thing where it numbed my tongue and I thought it was just me but my sister got a different donut and had the same reaction. I purchased a hummus sandwich here which was really yummy, I liked the sandwich much more than the donut!

I've been wanting to try these donuts for so long, and they definitely live up to the hype. I went on a Wednesday in the afternoon, and there was still a few places to sit, but I can certainly see that things would get super busy/sell out on the weekends. The mint custard was just too good to describe. I also took 6 back to our airbnb so that my husband could indulge as well. The ones with wholes in the middle are good, but the custard/cream filled ones are beyond good. The interior of the cafe is also really nice and spacious. I had already eaten before because I didn't know they had savoury food, but the sandwiches that they had in the display looked really tempting as well. I actually don't think they're that expensive for what you get.

The donuts looked gorgeous, so we bought 8 of them. They tasted great, They were fresh and the dough was very fluffy. The also tried matcha latte and hummus sandwich, they were also tasty. There was tap water for free on the table. Very nice interior. Totally worth the walk from the center.

Came here to experience the delights of a vegan donut. I was surprised how subtle the flavours were. I had the banana and peanut fudge donut and my partner had the salted caramel hazelnut donut. Both were light and fresh, which left us both feeling like we could have eaten another, which is a good thing, but the flavours could have been a lot stronger. The price is steep for a donut too, but is a novelty.
