I absolutely love the atmosphere and concept here. The staff are incredibly friendly. I ordered a burrito and felt talked into getting a burrito bowl. My burrito bowl was just OK, and I suspect I might’ve liked it better if I had an actual burrito instead. I appreciate that they offered several vegan protein options, which, in combination with the friendly service, is what prompted me to round up to 4* over 3*.

I feel bad not giving it 5 stars but people have been raving about this place and I finally got to try it. I got the asada fries and tried 1 of each taco. Everything was way too salty for me and kind of mid. Maybe I ordered the wrong things…? Customer service was great though 🥲

I want to call this the best vegan Mexican food, but really, it's simply the best vegan food PERIOD!!! This is one of the rare spots that I can bring my non-vegan peers - it really is that good! Today, we tried the potato taquitos, signature al pastor carnitas fries, and strawberry crumble cake😄

I’ve never had a bad meal at this place. I love the burritos, burgers, animal style fries, desserts, and drinks! They have vegan horchata! Also tres leches cake and the best marshmallow chocolate chip cookies! 🍪

Ambiance - great; service - fast, friendly and helpful (LOVE Jocelyn!!); menu options- plentiful; food - heavenly 😋. Had the carnitas loaded nachos and the California burrito and I am fat and happy (but, I couldn’t eat it all, it was way too much).

I had a burger with the house made patty. It was delicious! My son had the mexigogi burrito. It was amazing, too. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I will make the trip to Fullerton for another great meal.

Im so glad I got to try Chicana Vegana after seeing them featured on VegNews for women owned businesses!! I was happy with all the soy based tacos. They were seasoned very well and super flavorful. This place is so cute too, I love that the whole theme of the restaurant is a vegan superhero girl saving the animals. The artist is great.

I didn't get to try the desserts, but there's a nice selection, and they look really good. They were out of street corn, and the mac and cheese wasn't my taste when I tried it, but that doesn't matter overall considering the great experience

Going to Chicana vegana is a like a Mexican vegan superhero dream! The art inside is so cute and inviting. The staff is always friendly and inviting. Their food is absolutely excellent! I always have the nachos when I go and they never disappoint. Chicana also serves burgers and American diner food which is absolutely incredible. I highly recommend trying their desserts too! It’s rare to enjoy dessert as a vegan!

I liked the chilaquiles bowl and the cookies. It was all very good and flavorful. They have burgers and sandwiches on the menu and offer a choice between Impossible or Beyond. It’s nice to give people a choice, but I only give 5 stars to places that make their own veggie burgers in house. The Mexican options such as burritos offered 4 different proteins including Al Pastor, Carnitas, etc. 3 of the options were soy based whereas the carnitas may have been made of Jackfruit which is the only one that appealed to me!

 The flavors were so good. You would never know this was vegan. It would be like going to any really good Mexican restaurant lots of good tastes fresh and a fair price for a decent portion. The animal fries could’ve been a little bit bigger, but they were still delicious.

I got the classico burrito with the jackfruit carnitas, another in our group got the burrito mojado (wet burrito) and another got the mexigogi classico. All of them were so delicious and it was a good amount of food. The mild sauce had a bit of a kick to it, which I loved but may not be for people who don't like any spice. The employee at the counter was very helpful and nice.

Places like this make me happy! While I normally cook and eat pretty healthy, it's nice to be able to go somewhere and be able to eat anything on the menu without any worries. Is the food good here? No...it's amazing. My wife had the loaded nachos and I had the mushroom melt with the animaless fries. Delicious and neither of us could finish. Makes me wish I lived closer.

I've had a lot of burritos in my life and I can honestly say the Mexgogi Bae Rito is at the top of the list! Absolutely amazing. The cucumber water was also super delish and very refreshing. And the absolute best Tres Leches cake ever! We'll be back soon!

The street tacos were amazing. Everything else on the menu looked good too, it was hard to choose. We went with the tacos to try several flavors and they did not disappoint. We particularly liked the mexigogi taco!
