Since Junk has proudly served burgers from Beverly. We have been coming for our vegan delights. After countless trips never have we had a bad burger or experience. Always has it been amazing, tasty and with lovely staff, a fab vibe and more than enough food to feed a hungry mumma! So invested in this amazing place we even backed them on kickstarter because we never want to lose this incredible place. Thank you Junk Bar!!!!

I was a regular eater of JSS when Andy was doing pop ups in Scunthorpe and later when he took over the kitchen at Cafe Indie. Meals were always great, decent portion sizes and great quality ingredients.
Read moreI was sad when I found out Andy was leaving Indie and joining Atom in Beverly because it’s a bit of a trek out there now but I went as soon as I could after Junk Bar was opened and was yet again not disappointed. I always try and order something different on the menu every time and every meal has been fantastic.
Word of advice: buy the scoffles.

Was completely surprised when I heard a fully vegan eatery was opening up in Beverley, just a month after me and my family moved here.
Read moreObviously we were incredibly eager to give it a try, which we did first with a couple of drinks (amazing to have a completely vegan range of craft beers 🍻) and soon followed that with a trip with the in-laws for a round of burgers, and not one of us was disappointed. My young one (fussy eater at the best of times) demolished his 🍔 with an abandon very rarely seen from him, and my mother in-law regretted getting one to share as she liked it so much! Had the Everything Burger myself and it was absolutely banging.
Been several times now and the music is always great, the staff are all super lovely, and the place itself looks amazing 🤩
Five stars from all of us, keep up the fantastic work Andy & Co ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food was cold, chips are cheap and my burger was burnt. I did speak to the owner and he offered a free meal, but first impressions and I think the food I was given wasn’t up to anything I’d eaten at other vegan places, so haven’t taken up the offer. Been vegan for over 20 years and always will be.

Food is super tasty at reasonable prices. There is lots of choice so it's hard to choose but everything I've had so far has been incredible! Love the fact it's all vegan and Andy is so helpful with any concerns you may have. I can't wait to visit again! Try for yourself you wont be disappointed!

A treat for vegans in East Yorkshire - Edit
Having lived in Beverley for a few years, and my partner for their whole life, we were so happy when Andy took over Junk from Atom and kept going with the vegan menu and making it even better. We love the lunch menu addition, have come for the Sunday lunch, and one of the curry nights and sometimes just come in for some cake! Obviously it's great to know it's all vegan, but it's all so delicious too. The staff are so friendly, and the atmosphere is always very chilled and relaxed. It's good value for money, especially on Cheeseburger Tuesdays! Food arrives quickly, and there is a great selection of drinks (including non-alcoholic). We love that Junk is dog-friendly, have their own bar dog and the dog wall - there's treats for your puppers too if you bring them! We're looking forward to experiencing the Halloween Junk menu too - we're sure like every time we've been tempted by something on the menu we won't be disappointed!

The love that Andy and the team pour into this place is evident the second you walk through the door. They’re all so friendly and fun, the decor is bright and welcoming, the music is varied and not so loud that you can’t chat. The food is not healthy food, it’s junk food but it’s great. The menu has something for everyone. Current personal favourites are the sticky bbq stack and maple bacon scoffles but everything is banging. It’s just so nice to be able to choose anything without having to worry about it containing non-vegan ingredients. The bar is also fully vegan. There’s even cake - if you still have room. We always take ours home for later. We’ll be back again and again because we love it. Keep up the good work you guys. You rock (esp Pepita) x

Absolutely loved this place when I visited with my son last month…the burgers are delicious! I also tried their Vegan Sunday roast which was served in between two yorkshire puddings…it was amazing! The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. I live an hour and half away and would happily drive to come back here!

Absolutely delicious vegan food, served by the most lovely staff. We’ll be visiting regularly! It’s great to have a fully vegan restaurant in Beverley, not to mention a fully vegan bar. Not sure I’ve been to any other pub where I didn’t have try and work out which beers I could drink. If junk food is your thing, then junk bar is for you!

I added spice to the everything burger, and it delivered! So many different vegan meats on one burger, everything tasted great.
The sweet and spicy was really good too. Amazing sweet potato fries.
Would 100% come again and recommend to anyone visiting. You don't want to miss thede burgers.

Visited a while ago when it was Atom (pizzas that time, also good), but had burgers this visit. Excellent food and beer (no alcohol-free beer as they’d been sent a non-vegan one - good to know everything served is guaranteed vegan), and nice atmosphere and music. I had the vegan vampire steak and garlic burger in charcoal bun with fries which was delicious, though the ones the rest of my group ordered also looked good. Looking forward to going back soon, particularly interested to try the scoffles.

We really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. We both had burgers which were fab. The churros were the star of the show though. Filled with hot delicious melts chocolate. Get 5 piece version as you’ll regret only choosing 3!
