I have eaten fried tofu and tartar wasabi burger, it's cheap and good, the staff super friendly. I didn't have a charger and they have provided one, so I am very happy with them!

Big portion sizes: beware - Edit
Their side dishes are more like main dishes in my opinion, if you can't finish your meal you can ask for takeout box. Lots of things to try out and they have a good balance of sweets, mains, simple dishes and protein based dishes. For food, prices are ok, for drinks, it is a bit expensive.

Fluffiest toast! - Edit
This really cute restaurant has a morning service, where you order coffee and get a toast with it. The toast is covered in vegan butter and you can choose something else with it (vegan Creme cheese or jam). They also have other things like pancakes, which were also good!

Loved this place - Edit
Many menus for breakfast and lunch, I liked the sandwich and teriyaki burger. It's a good amount of food and makes you full after eating them. It's chain restaurants in Japan but plant based Komeda cafe is only here from what I know!

We were so hungry! - Edit
This was fantastic. Good serving size compared to many Japanese restaurants and fantastic service. Admittedly, there weren’t many customers while we were there, but they were very attentive filling our water glasses many times (something we find rarely happens here). All of our 4 dishes were great.

Delicious! - Edit
We ordered an AvoTeri burger and Tartar Wasabi burger. They were delicious! I wonder how they made the teriyaki sauce for the patty, but it tastes exactly like the sauce of the teriyaki chicken burger from Mos Burger.
Read moreThe tofu fritters are good too. Crispy and savoury! I guess it can go well with drinks for late night snacks!

One Phrase - “Soy Ham Cutlet Sandwich” - Edit
Seriously, it is so insanely good. Get the soy cutlet sandwich. I am convinced that anyone who doesn’t review this restaurant with the five stars it deserves did not order the right products. It’s honestly some of the best food that I’ve eaten on my trip to Japan, and we made our plans based on various Michelin Star reservations.
Read more750 yen for a latte? A little steep you might think(even though that’s only like $5.35 USD)— but wait! It comes with a huge strip of the most delicious toast that you’ve ever eaten. Definitely try it with the jam or red bean paste.
Also, the donut croissant thing with the ice cream in the middle. Snag yourself one of those. Do that for sure.
Pros: Delicious Food, Friendly Staff, Clean Restaurant
Cons: Isn’t a short walk away from my house in Colorado

Worst meal I’ve ever had out - Edit
Can not understand the score on here. Won’t let me score less than 2. I hate to put down a vegan place but I’ve never had a worse meal out. The fried soy meat with sauce was okay but tartar wasabi and AvoTeri burgers were horrible. The tofu fritters were bland battered tofu but okay with the sauces. My vegan boyfriend just said that the meal made him sad. The burgers didn’t even taste as the menu described and textures very bad

It's made to suit a Japanese palate and is aiming to 'veganise' a fairly traditional kissaten founded in the 1960s.
Read moreIf you go in expecting American style, you might be be disappointed. The burger is literally called 'graceful, beautiful woman' burger, so it's probably aiming for a less intense flavour profile.

Great diner style food! - Edit
Loved this place. Arrived at lunchtime, got a comfy booth seat and ordered via a screen so had plenty of time to consider the many options! Had an avocado & teriyaki burger with wasabi mayo & chips, a smoothie each and shared some fluffy pancakes with berries for dessert. Came to ¥5740 (still way cheaper for us than U.K. prices). Really delicious and options were interesting, would definitely return. They also had oat milk for coffees which is a bonus in Japan.

Love this fully vegan restaurant! Lots of options to chose from. The restaurant itself is lovely and the staff so polite. I ordered sooo much off the menu because I was so excited to try it all. My favourite was definitely the fruit pancakes! Must stop and eat here while in Tokyo.
