Amazing - Edit
Everything we had was delicious, tasty and fresh. Couldn’t wait to come here and didn’t disappoint. All the cakes and pastries looked so good it was difficult to choose.

Excellent - Edit
Amazing boulangerie / pâtisserie. Astonishingly good range of vegan treats, with several also gluten free. Please can you open a branch in London?
Read moreUpdate 2024: visited again this summer. Fewer gluten free options now, but quality is still high. Can firmly recommend the monkey cookie and the tartelettes.

Vegan patisserie - Edit
It had many different vegan pastries. A bit too sweet for me; but I liked the vegan patisserie.

Really good lunch ! The Provençal sandwich (sun dried tomatoes, herb cream cheese, black olives and artichoke) was delicious and the chocolate pain viennois was good !

Among the best I’ve had! - Edit
I saw this place on so many lists of must-have vegan restaurants of Paris so was excited to try it, and it did not disappoint! I loved both the veg quiche and chocolate croissant I had, and my partner enjoyed his quiche Lorraine (other than feeling it was onion-heavy) and an apple turnover. We both agreed my croissant was among the best we’ve had, vegan or not.

Not the best Land & Monkeys of Paris - Edit
After trying several times all the other 4 locations of Land & Monkeys in Paris (Turenne, Beaumarchais, Amsterdam & Pernety) I finally went to this one today. The terrace was messy, tables were not clean and although the staff was nice I cannot give 5 stars. I will stick to my favorite one which is the Pernety location

Amazing range and delicious - Edit
We visit multiple times every time we come to Paris.
Read moreThe vegan viennoiseries are delicious (croissant, pain aux raisins, pain viennois) and amazing tarts. They have breakfast and lunch deals; for breakfast a hot drink (up to €5), juice, and a pastry (up to €3) for €8 total.
Savory options include quiche, sandwiches, and a hot dog. The petits pains are our favourite.
For the fancier pastries and tarts, the close by VG Patisserie is maybe better but less options.
This branch has inside and outside seating and a toilet. Staff are nice, often busy and quick, but polite (never experienced bad service).
Pros: Choice , Price , All vegan

First croissant in 9 years - Edit
I've been vegan for 9 years and this was the first real croissant I've had in all that time. I actually cried a little it was so good. I also enjoyed the matcha latte and The Parisienne was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I was in Paris for 3 days and visited a Land & Monkeys each day. Highly recommend.

Fine Vegan Cafe - Edit
Land and Monkeys’ Leon Frot location is a fine option for some vegan pastries. We ordered the croque monsieur and the chocolate viennoise.
Read moreThe cafe has plenty of seating, cozy lighting, and a friendly staff. The floors, tables, and bathrooms were clean (code needed on receipt for entry).
The croque Monsieur (my first ever) is cheesy and moist with a nice slice of ham and a slather of secret sauce under the cheese and between the slices of bread and ham. My only complaint was the temperature: It needed to be warmer.
The chocolate viennoise was full of chocolate chips but a little dry with a slick exterior. I would skip it.
Land and Monkeys’ Leon Frot location is worth a stop if you’re looking for vegan versions of French treats but temper your expectations.

Perfect bakery fix for vegans - Edit
So much variety here - we had to take a moment to look over it all before deciding on arrival.
Read moreGood prices and clearly very very popular with locals which is always great to see.
I had a kale quiche which seemed like chickpea binding and it was delicious. My partner had a sandwich which was huge! We both had gorgeous pastries to finish and were stuffed - luckily we had planned to walk it off..!
If this place was on our Airbnb doorstep we would have been there every morning. If you're nearby make it a regular fix!
Pros: Good prices , Huge variety, Cosy to sit in

La variété de choses sont bonnes mais le sandwich que j'ai pris était un peu simple ou fade...? Le carrot cake était bon quand même mais je m'attendais à plus pour ce restaurant

Good value - Edit
Love land and monkeys. I got the January deal which was 5.50 for the Parisian baguette an apricot tart and a drink. The baguette itself was nothing amazing but the apricot tart was lovely. €5.50 for a vegan meal in paris is a very good deal

Mille-feuille heaven! - Edit
Best breakfast ever! We shared an olive bread stick, mille-feuille and croissant, all fantastic. It was all so good we bought lunch to eat on the train - excellent quiche, sandwich and (oops) another mille-feuille - well it's the first vegan one we've ever found, that's our excuse. Everything is great, including the quality of the bread.

This chain is a definitively must visit while in Paris. They offer a wide selection of sweet and savoury goods, which are just exquisite. I (only) visited them 3 times during a weekend, but would like to have a breakfast there every single day. My big favourite.

Still the best focaccia I've ever had - Edit
Have I been dreaming about this focaccia for more than a year? Maybe. Besides a big olive loaf, we also got a warm chocolate croissant that my partner said was the best he's ever had (!), a good breakfast sandwich, and a babka bun that was good, but a little drier than I wanted it to be.

Land & Monkeys - Edit
Really nice pastries and desserts! But the staff should reconsider rolling their eyes when they are politely asked if they speak English… What a way to feel welcomed despite trying on my end by saying bonjour and the other little bits I know. 🤷🏼♀️

Delicious - Edit
Since I live in a medium small town offering no special vegan place to go, this bakery in Paris was heaven for me! I could hardly decide what to have for breakfast because everything looked so delicious. At the end I went for a quiche and a pain au chocolat. Definitely a place to go!
