Mallow restaurants are the BEST vegan restaurants in London - Edit
The venue is fresh and light, the staff are super friendly and efficient and the food is exceptional. Mallow is the perfect place to introduce meat eaters to delicious, appetising, beautifully presented food. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Read moreEverything at Mallow from the food to the staff was phenomenal. I visited three times over the course of a trip to London. Nothing was bad.
The Indian-inspired breakfast was probably the standout meal but even the juice was amazing. The staff cares about your allergens and made great suggestions every time we visited.
If you're in the mood for a sweet breakfast, don't miss the French Toast - this really hit the spot and was like a nice breakfast dessert to split between friends.
My only regret was not being able to visit a 4th time.

I went for dinner with a friend. We both found the food very good, and the desserts were incredible. I had an excellent crème brûlée that I think of often. The food was expensive but typical for Canary Wharf. The drinks were quite basic and high prices for what was on offer. On a Friday the restaurant was quiet with not much of an atmosphere.

Beautiful Tasting Menu - Edit
It was my first meal in London—ever! And what a first impression! I was at a loss for what to choose out of the many delicious looking menu offerings so I went with their chef-chosen tasting menu for £40 and boy was I not disappointed! Generous portions and absolutely delicious. Plus a wonderful small dessert. Perfect. Great cocktails as well. Also, incredible atmosphere and service. Would come again hands down.

Food is great, but restuarant lacks atmosphere - Edit
To be honest we've only been once, and we ate just before 6pm, but we were the only customers for the majority of time, and there was only one other couple for a short period - eating in an empty restaurant isn't great. I'm thinking that Canary Wharf probably doesn't warrent enough casual footfall, and the locals just order via Uber-eats. The staff seemed bored, and even started doing some cleaning next to us.

Menu appeared to be same as Borough Market, and the food was just as tasty.
If I was in the area (e.g. going to the O2) I'd eat there again, but I personally wouldn't make a special journey to go there.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. The menu is extensive will so many options to choose from. I had the Plantbased chick’n burger and fries and it was absolutely delicious! It was so filling and the portions are generous.

The best vegan option in Canary Wharf - Edit
I've always been a big fan of Mallow since they opened in London Bridge. So I had to try their new branch in Canary Wharf, and they didn't disappoint!
Read moreSleek decor, great food and presentation... (The shiitake croquettes with the yuzu mayo were a delight, and the mushroom biryani looks spectacular!) What a shame I had no room left for dessert, I fancied everything.
I also feel that they are reasonably priced for the quality.
They definitely stay a firm favourite for me!
The only tiny caveat I have is the service - the second time I went there. The staff wasn't quite as professional (they didn't seem that they expected us, despite our reservation or to know the wine menu).

I ate in the first one at Borough Market and was excited to test the new one of the family.

It’s a flavor explosion, but well dosed.
Unfortunately the service was a bit overdosed. Every view minutes came anyone to me for asking if anything is ok. I had barely finished the last bite of a course when my plate was snatched away. I came 30 minutes to
early ( my luck), but 70 minutes later they told me to leave, because the next guests are waiting for my table. Therefore are 60£ to much.
The 5 stars are for the incredible food! 🌺

I wish I'd taken more pictures of the decor but no photographs capture the evening warmth of Mallow in Canary Wharf. You have to experience it. The food was the best I've had dining out in 10 years of strict gluten free veganism. Having intolerances means I usually have to order lacklustre side dishes but not here. The food is clearly designed by someone, or a team, who has a long-term in-depth understanding of plant-based flavours and textures. I loved every single bite, the staff were adorable (helpful with every query despite the fact we were 'that' kind of customer). I feel like this is exactly what vegan food should be and I felt like other restaurants would charge similar prices but never deliver this result. I ordered the beetroot with vegan feta, the laksa with five-spiced tofu and an apricot creme brulee. Unbelievable quality. In Danish we'd call Mallow "hygge" for being so cosy, warm, satisfying and homely. Thank you for representing vegan cuisine so flawlessly!

Read moreWe tried the Christmas menu and it was very good indeed. The first four courses were delicious including their take on a Wellington and a surprising blue cheese. My only criticism would be that the 5th course was overly rich, sweet, and large and the 6th course also incredibly sweet. That's just our tastes though.
Great mocktails too - not too sweet. Plus they serve our favourite non-alcohol beer, Lucky Saint.
Nice atmosphere and helpful staff. Will return.
