I love to support any 100% Vegan spot. It wasn’t far from hotel so I decided to walk over. Unfortunately I can’t review the burgers to confirm or deny all the neg vs pos comments. I wasn’t in the mood for any mock meats and I wanted/needed some greens in my life so I ordered the simple kale salad with tortilla strips (different from typical corn strips and very good) pepitas and their dressing (which I didn’t care for). Even though I didn’t care too much for the dressing the salad wasn’t super bad at all and it hit the spot of the greens I needed. I also ordered the animal fries with cheese sauce and caramelized onions that were pretty good. They even held up on my walk back to room.
Read moreThere was no waiting so food was done quick. They are not as cheap as your typical fast food but we all know that unfortunately vegan comes at a price so with that said it’s still worth a try.

Just like a standard fast food joint: burgers, fries milkshakes. The wings were my favorite menu item. The kale salad could have been better, but everything else was super impressive. Definitely try a milkshake!

We love Marty’s buffalo wings! Seitan on a stick, double fried to perfection and coated in spicy, tangy buffalo sauce. Drizzled with ranch or bleu cheese. Yum! Be sure to order an extra side of dressing if dipping is your thing. Fries and/or mac & cheese are always good, too. The house-made patty for the World Star Burger is another A+ in our books. But really, it’s all about those wings!!!

I stopped by here last year before heading to a show at Jazz Standard, which I knew wouldn’t have any vegan food except maybe a leaf. Everything was delicious! I absolutely loved the Crabby Patty and recommend it to whoever visits. The Mac & “Cheese” was also very delicious. Definitely check this place out!

I had their World Famous Burger and it was amazing. They used seitan for the patty. There’s an option to sub for a beyond burger but their own patty is already really good to begin with. The burger came with this cheese sauce that really pulled the whole thing together. It was amazing. I’m definitely coming back here for the burger and maybe also try their other plethora of vegan goods like the mac and cheese. They also have a promotion where you get a star for every burger you order. You get a free burger every 10 stars. The prices are pretty good, especially for Manhattan, but this makes the place an even better value. The staff are also super friendly.

So I dragged my omni friend all over the city trying vegan foods today. I felt that while I never tried this place, it had enough hype to give it a go for dinner. My omni friend was a little disappointed with his impossible burger. He said it was not as good as the impossible whopper. But he liked it and devoured it. I tried a piece. It was the sauce. I liked the sauce, but I can see that Marty's sauce was different or might be off to some people. My crabby patty was the same way. It's tartar sauce was peppery or too spicy. Maybe too much so. Again, I like such things. But for some it might be too much. Flavor in this place is not lacking. The patty was basically a jackfruit imitation and I enjoyed it greatly. It's no perfect crab cake. But it's well made for what it is. I give it a solid 8. The fries are a 10. The staff is awesome. The upgrade for fountain drinks are a must. The acai drink next to the root beer is fire. I was too stuffed to try the drumsticks, but maybe I'll try them next time and see if I can give them a higher rating.

I ordered food from this place when staying in New York with family last August. I’m from UK so was in a hotel and also paid online. I was so sooo excited for my food and I knew it was going to be amazing. I wrote a note for the delivery person to call me when they arrived, so I made sure I had my phone on me and I never got a call, until I then just received a messaged saying I missed one, so I ran downstairs and nothing was to be seen?? I was so confused as I never knew how it worked in the US anyway, so I tried ringing up but nothing was happening. I eventually got through to the delivery company, not even the good place and they couldn’t do anything for me so I was left starving and also $30 less. Was so sad I couldn’t try the food here:(

I got the original world famous burger and a side of Mac n cheese for around $15. It would’ve been worth it if it’d been about 50% cheaper. With so many good vegan options around, this bland burger doesn’t give you any bang for your buck and isn’t worth the trip. Great to have accessible vegan fast food but so many other places do it so, so much better.
