This spot reminds me a lot of traditional “burger and fries” fast food joints. I’ve been there twice in the past few weeks and each time the burger has been slammin’! Be ready for a long workout to ditch all those calories. Totally worth it. 🙂

I have been here twice now (once take-out and once dine-in) and I've enjoyed the two different burgers and sweet potato fries! If you get the tempeh bacon, I'd suggests asking for more sauce because it adds a dryness to the burger. The food is completely vegan and with GMO free ingredients. Tons of different vegan cheese options. The shakes are pretty rad too! I'd get the coconut base if I were you.

I have to first say the shakes are well worth it! I had the salted caramel and it was the best shake ever.
Read moreI had the crinkle cut baked fries which were pretty awful. I make baked fries at home that are far better. These had a very frozen fry (think recooked potatoes) taste. I would probably have liked do the sweet potato ones better. If they could’ve have fresh cut fries, that’s would help a lot. These had no flavor and we’re kind of dry.
The All American (bacon cheeseburger with meaty soy patty) burger was just okay. Again, a little dry and unflavorful. I’ve had much better at Veggie Grill in LA and Green in Phoenix.
Another issue is tha it was really hot in there (and I’m normally always cold!) so much that my sister-in-law and niece had to go the car and turn on the AC to wait for me to finish eating. They also messed up our orders and had three of the burgers mixed up and given to the wrong person with the wrong side. They did correct it afterward though.
I was really hoping to love this place with all the good reviews, but it fell short.

We tried the sausage burger, and the BBQ Bleu cheese burger, along with the BBQ Bleu tots and a peanut butter milkshake. Burgers were super good! Can't go wrong with tots and the shake was to die for.

I was impressed with the big all-vegan menu and many options for specialty vegan burgers. Husband got "The Animal" (pictured here), which was huge but do-able. I chose one with tempeh bacon, which was good but not really noteworthy. I remember it being slightly dry overall. But I like the concept of the restaurant and maybe just need to try a different burger. I'd still go again!

Great Stop for Traveling Vegans - Edit
Super easy for vegans who are traveling and need somewhere to eat without worry. A tad pricey but when you're on vaca, it's expected. For someone with a small appetite, a side with extras is all I needed to feel satisfied. The fountain drinks rule too.

I just ate here for the first time and loved it! The sausage bacon burger was excellent. My regret was sharing one burger with my partner instead of getting two different ones... well next time! Prices are reasonable too. Would definitely come back!

A Welcome Addition to the Neighborhood - Edit
I was pleased with my first visit, and will definitely give it another try. The tempeh burger was only "meh" to me (I was hoping it would be more bbq-saucy), but my son liked his basic burger. My daughters both enjoyed their kids' meals (hot dog and grilled cheese/tomato soup). I felt the tots and the fries were both under-cooked, but this is probably just a wrinkle they need to iron out. The shakes were fantastic, if a little over-sweet. The cashier was enthusiastic and friendly, genuinely seemed happy to be working at a plant-based restaurant!

This is a winner! Try it out if you want quick, easy, and dangerously delicious vegan fast food! I was so impressed! I didn't know what direction to go and the gal at the register helped me customize a classic burger I ordered. And for how fast it came out, the guys in the back nailed the presentation. 5/5 I wish I could stay in Portland just to check off everything on the menu. **Get a side of secret sauce! **
