I can only add to what others have said. This place rocks. Second best vegan pizza I've ever had. Friendly, professional service and unique cocktails. The diablo garlic bread was hot but not too hot.

Read moreWe really enjoyed our visit. We started with a (must try) awesome garlic bread, which was super tasty and fresh from the oven. After that I had the Pimped Queen Margherita and my husband chose the Pesto Leonardo.
Everything about the pizza was great. Awesome fluffy crust, loads of pesto and cheese and the taste was the best. It also came straight from the oven.
The pizzas were really filling and unfortunately we weren't able to finish them all because of that, but it was so worth it.

I heard a lot about this place before I got here.

So when I was in Ghent, there was no excuse for me to not pay them a visit.
Two big windows telling you the name should help you find it. Entering you almost walk into the counter, where you can see them make the dough and pizzas.
Talking about a mouthwatering start.
The place is nicely decorated, it's one room but there are two levels. Big window in the back, maybe they have a terrace? I couldn't really tell.
The waiter assignes you a table and you get a paper placemat with the menu on it. You also get a glass of water so you don't have to be thirsty while making the tough decision of what to choose from their all vegan menu. They offer ten kinds of pizza rosso, eight possible pizza bianco and two specials. On top of that they have a bunch of starters that all sound delicious as well. Note that they did have two desserts as well but they are not mentioned on the menu.
The drink menu consist of several cocktails, mocktails and a carefully selected couple of wines, where the main theme seems to be the pureness of the product withouth the use of any additives. It's a great way to select drinks! A little remark is that they have no coffee or tea. This is not really a problem, plenty of places in Ghent to get a decent coffee. The menu mentions that hot drinks are coming soon, which was confirmed by the waiter, so soon this place may have a decent coffee as well.
Musicwise I heard some Marvin Gaye, a bit of Stevie Wonder, ... The music is loud enough to go over other people's conversations but not tok lood to interfere in yours. So pretty much like on the other points, perfect.
Very friendly personel, nothing much to say there.
Conclusion: great place to get pizza.
This has drawn the attention of many, don't hesitate to call in advance and make reservations. It's definitely a place I will visit again. (I have 17 more pizzas to try here). More places like this please!

We were recommended this place and I’m so happy we went there. There was 2 pages of menu, all vegan. Loads of choice, we ordered a take away so we could sit outside and they were ready less than 10 mins of ordering.

A revelation. They make the best pizzas in Ghent, vegan or not. - Edit
Ghent went directly from not having a single vegan pizza as good as the animal based ones, to having pizza better than any of them. Understandably, the popularity of this place has exploded, so sometimes you can't get in. I had pizzas delivered once during peak hours (a friday evening), and the pizzas took hours to arrive. I suspect they're pushing their pizza oven to the limit, running at very high temperatures, possibly to keep up with demand. It can happen that the crust gets burned a bit on top, or the cheese (primarily in-house nut mozzarella cheese hand chopped in small cubes) doesn't melt down fully, but when they nail it, and they usually do, the result is SUBLIME.
Read moreI am glad I went vegan because if I hadn't, I might never have found their "Foresta" pizza. It's that good. It sounds dumb, but I felt an instant emotional connection. When I'm eating this, the logical part of my brain tells me not to exaggerate, it's just fried fungus on bread, but a much larger part of my brain says this is the sort of thing that makes life worth living.
When I went vegan I thought I had said goodbye to blue cheese forever, but lo and behold... there it is on their 4 cheese pizzas! I have no idea how they even make money on that pizza the ingredients are so expensive. The locally produced Omage cheese they put on there is ~9 euros a wheel retail, and as far as I know you can't even buy vegan blue cheese locally at any price. The "Gondino" hard cheese they put on there is the best vegan hard cheese I've tasted; thankfully they resell it too so you can take some home.
Their more affordable pizzas are good too, and I've tried about half of them, but the fancy mushroom pizza and fancy cheese pizza (I've been getting the red version) are in another league.

Awesome pizza! They offer basics like marinara and margerita but also adventurous combos, that all sounds delicious. I had a funghi and was in heaven! So yummy, great dough, great place, great staff. Can definitely recommend😄

This is definitely the best vegan pizza available in Belgium (far as I know). Freshly made on order, homemade mozzarella, fresh basil, and super friendly service. Highly recommend!
