We went twice to Riz Riz on different trips and both times has the sweet potato waffles. The dish was nice.

We went for lunch and didn’t have a great appetite so we choose from the starters. We had the plate of appetizers and felt mislead by the decription on the menu. Especially the bowl of popcorn, puffed rice crackers and bleak cherry tomatoes were not what we expected. We expected something home made when we read Rice cakes, not store bought Rice crackers (rijstwafels, galettes de riz). Everything was served in too big bowls with too little inside them. And the humus and guacamole even in one bowl. We could have gone for a supermarket for this appetizer. The other starter was home made but tasted a bit bland. We only liked the endamame with sesame seeds.

Very tasty, big portions, very creative, excellent service. We ordered the Mango masala and the curry with tofu. Finished with a very good chocolate cake. Prices are very reasonable. We’ll defiantly cone back and we highly recommend #Veganuary

I am sorry. This is simply not good enough for a vegan restaurant in this day and age. We chose this platter as a pre-course and the rice selection as main. So I can honestly say we tried all courses. Poorly seasoned, lack of composition and over all so boring. I have been a vegan since the 1990s and I want to support this venue, but the food is just too poor.

Offers a variety of highly tasteful options, recommend picking the rice table to taste it all in one go. Would recommend adding a meal salad for more voracious eaters like myself - the portions are rather small. Given that Riz Riz is partially staffed with former refugees to help them find their place in society means definite thumbs up in the feelgood department.

We reserved a table on a Friday night. It started to get busier so perhaps that’s advisable after 8pm on a Friday night. We ordered the black panther and the sweet potato waffles. I ordered the lemonade. On the front of the menu it said the restaurant employs refugees which is great. I asked for the lemonade without sugar. I think perhaps it needs sugar. The black panther (bowl with black rice and beans and tofu) was nice my partner enjoyed the waffles although there was a lot of salad.

The Riz Riz is a really nice restaurant with a friendly staff. It's completely vegan and there are great dishes on the menu, we had the black panther and the sweet potatoe waffles. Both tasted really good and the size of the portion was okay. But we were disappointed by the lemonade, which were only sour and had no taste.

Allright food! Maybe a bit expensive but there are a lot of curry like dishes to choose from and they have a nice sharing platter. As a rice junkie, I expected it would be more like a *rice* restaurant, so different kinds of rice dishes (like biryani or pilaf or sushi or fried rice) but it seemed to me the focus was more on the curry's than on the rice.
