We thought Seedz had the cutest decorations & atmosphere, if we could move in we definitely would. As for food, it was some of the best vegan comfort food we’ve ever tried!

THE BEST - Edit
This is my favorite casual vegan restaurant. Everything I have gotten was amazing. There's brunch on Sunday AM but I just got regular lunch fare.
Read moreService was great, very helpful. The inside is fun and artsy. There's a sister coffee shop next door too.
The baked falafel was the best i've had. It wasn't dry and had so many exciting additions. Soup and salad was fantastic too.
It's a little pricey but definitely worth it knowing you are getting fresh, delicious vegan food . Highly recommend!
Pros: 100% vegan, Many options, flavorful
Cons: somewhat pricey

Very accommodating of food allergies. We felt right at home with the comfortable staff and comfort food. Sweets were a bonus. We travel all over the US and this is one of the best vegan restaurants we have been to.

No worries for Vegans - Edit
EVERYTHING IS VEGAN!!!! That is, in the restaurant. The only thing is possible honey with what they sell in their shop. The people who serve you are very kind. Tip is OPTIONAL, I recommend tipping if you can. You order at the counter and then get served. They automatically serve water without ice. You do have the option of ordering tea, coffee, a smoothie or alcohol. The smoothies are around 8 dollars. If you’re on a budget, split a pizza with someone and stick to water. The pizzas are easily split between two people. Most meals are at least 10 dollars.

Cons: Water is without ice, Smoothies are expensive

Really good - Edit
Got the tempeh Reuben wrap. It was really good. The tempeh itself was very flavorful, and the thousand island dressing was really good too. Also it came with a very small side salad and a handful of chips. It is expensive for the portion sizes but it was also a really nice quiet location and the cashiers were really nice and helpful in answering questions. They can get very busy, so just be patient with the servers. Also, the incredible smoothie has a very DARK chocolate flavor, so keep that in mind. It was perfect for a chocolate craving though.

Very tasty! Had the BBQ black bean burger and tempeh reuben. Burger had a nice spicy flavor that was complemented with the BBQ sauce. Avocado was a pleasant surprise. The reuben had the right amount of everything to create a nicely balanced flavor.

Delicious and Quaint - Edit
Quaint little restaurant offering delicious vegan menu, juices, smoothies and even beer/wine. The hot Reuben sandwich is to die for, and the macaroni with homemade cashew ‘cheese’ is the creamiest! Tostadas are yummy and make a great lunch option too. Dine in or carry out available some outdoor seating when the weather cooperates.

Awesome and Special Yummy Food Stop - Edit
So thankful for a healthy and yymmy meal while trekking across the country to our new home. Delightful and quaint neighborhood. Easy to find parking and felt comfortable leaving our precious household belongings inside car while we went in to eat. Great options, yummy food, nice and helpful staff, clean bathroom, and outdoor seating. Hapoily ate while listening to the local church bells. Will definitely stop again if trekking through STL!!

Seedz has a lot of soy options on the menu, so I chose a raw meal. I really liked the sauce they made. The cafe is adorable and is fun for people watching. Would go back!

Best Vegan Food in STL! - Edit
All of the employees, including the chef (excluding the owner), were delightful. As I perused the board menu, the girl at the register (Sarah, if the name on my receipt was accurate) offered to assist. She happily answered my questions (there are no ingredient descriptions listed on the menu board so I had to inquire about the ingredients used), and if she didn't know the answer she asked another young lady, who eagerly came over with a smile and the answer. I ordered the Tempeh LTA (lettuce, tomato, avocado) without tomato, in a wrap - $10.95. I also opted for the Tropical Smoothie, after hearing the ingredients from Sarah, which included pineapple, mango, and coconut water - $8.95.
Read moreThe Tropical Smoothie came out shortly after I returned from washing my hands. What does a $9 smoothie taste like? Freaking amazing, that's what! The consistency was perfect; thick, yet not too thick. The flavor embodied the essence of "tropical." This smoothie should be the cover girl of island smoothies: easy, breezy, beautiful.
The Tempeh LTA (ordered as a wrap) came with flavorfully cooked tempeh, cashew cheese, lettuce, avocado, and mayo-lined sprouted grain wrap. Everything tasted so fresh and clean, with a winning combination of flavors, including that vegan cashew cheese. (Thank you, Chef, for your persistence!) The dish came with round tortilla chips and a simple but delicious side salad. I inquired about the dressing on the side salad. It's justly called Goddess dressing, and is made with tahini and herbs. It may be my new favorite dressing. This dish is worth every penny of the asking price, and is on par with places like True Foods Kitchen.
Yes, it is a little expensive, but the quality (remember, everything is organic too) makes it a great value.
I do agree that parking can be a pain. Luckily, it was a beautiful spring day when I visited, so I enjoyed the walk. I hate that the owner's cold and unwelcoming demeanor almost made me miss out on this jewel. Maybe she has RBF; maybe she isn't a people person. If this is the case, she may want to steer clear of the business during business hours and let the current employees continue to work their magic. The chef, the other employees, and the amazing food make this place a 5-star eatery, and when I return to the STL, this will be one of my first stops.
Pros: fresh, healthy, quality food
Cons: parking
