Vegan Tamales! - Edit
5 different types of vegan tamales. So happy to try these Mexican traditional dishes in a began kitchen! The juices and coffee were good as well the bean with plantains was a great sharing dish for the table. The restaurant has a beautiful back garden with tons of plants. When in Tulum you must stop here at some point to try their tamales

Great spot in Tulum - Edit
Staff is super friendly. Garden in back is a nice little oasis. The bean tamale was sizable for an appetizer and the oyster mushroom tacos were delicious. Just enough spice for my sensitive gringa palate. Fairly priced for Tulum.

Best food I’ve had in some time - Edit
Not to be missed. Very charming backyard patio. Tamales made fresh right there by two older women. Very distinctive and unlike what you’ll find elsewhere at a vegan spot. Simple menu but feels tasteful and authentic. Utterly delicious.

Lovely little family kitchen style place. Cheap & tasty! - Edit
Tucked away in a side street, you can sit and relax in their beautiful backyard enjoying delicious tamales and more. Everything is rather cheap. Had a green juice, tamales and a carrot muffin which was pretty filling. Very friendly staff.

Incredibly tasty food in a wonderful setting - Edit
I've only had Tamales once from a food truck in Seattle. This was my previous benchmark, and I was certain that I didn't like them after that little outing. I feel like a dunce.
Read moreThe Tamales at Suculenta are unreal! So much flavour and tastiness wrapped up in a magical green leafed parcel. Check this place out and get the Shitake Mushroom Tacos.

yummy! - Edit
Really good food, inexpensive and tasty. Suggest trying out a couple of tomales, as not very big. The sauce was good too. And green juice was good!

Fun options but didn’t blow me away - Edit
I love that there is an all vegan tamale shop with interesting flavor combos but they were just good, not great in my opinion. Still would recommend trying this place once, especially if you’ve never had tamales!

Random flavours small size - Edit
Ordered a elote con rajas and a salsa tamales; the first was not that good and it was weird and the second one was ok. Tamales cost 50 pesos each which is a lot of money for the size and the quality they offer. If you want to pay with credit card they will charge you an extra 5%
Read morePros: Serving quick
Cons: 5% charge if paying with credit cards, Flavours are random, Size and quality not ok for the price
