Great home kitchen - Edit
I was travelling for work and I had some time to grab lunch. I used the app and found this little place. It’s very unassuming and like a home kitchen - there was a big menu and I chose a Hotdog. I was really not expecting the amazing food that came! It was a huge hotdog with lots of different sauces and extras and so delicious and very nicely presently. I hope to return some day!

Nice food but awful service - Edit
The food was very delicious, a little too oily. Prices were ok. My dish was the cheapest with below 10€. Unfortunately not very special food. When you enter the room make sure you need to wash your clothes afterwards because the air is very moist and smelly. The service guy was quite unfriendly and we waited a long time to get our food.

Disappointed.. - Edit
We were really excited to try this place! It was the last meal of our trip to Amsterdam. When you walk in, the place reeks of frying oil. My eyes were stinging by the end of our meal and my hair and clothes still smelled of oil days later... Vegan lust, which is €21 was not worth it. A handful of some deep fried things, rice, grilled veggies. My sushi roll was nice but it wasn’t rolled well, very loose and too fat, couldn’t use chop sticks. The waiter didn’t come to check on us once and I had to go up twice to ask for more water. Toilets are dirty and the artwork on the wall is off-putting. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be back here - especially when there are so many other great fully vegan places in A’dam.

Nice, small restaurant - Edit
I got the burger and fries and it was delicious! There are lots of other options with a huge variety on their menu. It was refreshing to have a freshly cooked healthy meal after eating so much junk food on holiday. The staff are very friendly and sweet. However, service is a bit slow!

Hangry atmosphere - Edit
I dragged my carnist family here who had already moaned about it being totally vegan. Ended up sitting on the floor by the window.
Read moreThey don’t serve alcohol and something was cooking which was literally making my eyes water the whole time! Like chopping onions but in the whole restaurant!
The food must have takes about an hour to come out and it all came out at different times so by the time the last dish came out the first person had finished!
The food was good, but it took so long to come out we were fed up and starving! It was quite expensive too.
The atmosphere was very much a fed up hungry one, you could tell everybody had been waiting ages for their food!
Could be so good with a bit of a makeover and quicker service!
Pros: Good food, Big portions
Cons: Long wait, Eye watering smells , Shabby

Amazing Ramen! - Edit
Loved the vibe of this place! Just super chill and the interior is kind of tacky. Loved it! I gave the Ramen soup, spring rolls and ginger beer a whirl. Ramen soup was the best I’ve ever had! The homemade noodles were off the hook and the broth was super flavourful. The spring rolls were a bit different than I’m used to but hey, they were tasty in their own unique way. And of course the ginger beer, you can never go wrong with that! All in all - really tasty place. I’d totally go back for 2nds, 3rds and well...you get the point. Service was also really good!

I had a really difficult time deciding what to choose from the menu because there was so much variety. Ended up going with the sushi and it was so delicious! Would love to go back and try the other items.

Little gem!! - Edit
Went here when another place we were going to go was closed but I’m so glad we found it! The vegan chicken and chips was incredible! It came with a couple of sauces katsu and a ranch type I believe all over the top and the fries were polenta fries I think and just amazing. My partner ordered cheese sticks which I was really excited about but they were veg wrapped in cheese wrapped in seaweed so not quite to my taste.

painfully slow service... - Edit
i was excited to eat here. arrived, gave my order (crispy dragon roll, gluten free), and was asked to sit by the front window. after 20 minutes, the server cam up and said he forgot what i had ordered and to repeat it. he said mine would be made next, so not to worry. he then sat a few other parties and took their orders. twenty minutes later, nothing. i looked over to see other parties getting frustrated with how long their food was taking. 10 minutes later, folks who had arrived after me were getting their food. after waiting an hour, he said (again) i was next and that my food would be right out. i almost left, when my food finally came out. it had been about 70 minutes to get one dish.
Read moreit was covered in fried onions and came with soy sauce. i informed him that soy sauce is not gluten free, so he took it and came back with what he claimed was gluten free soy sauce. i ate the roll, which was delicious. now, i am paying for it. it’s been a LONG time since i have been gluten-bombed. so frustrating. if the food didn’t taste amazing, i would give this place zero stars.
if you’re willing to wait a REALLY LONG time for your food, then you’re good here. otherwise, choose somewhere else...

Good food - bad service - Edit
The food (when it finally arrived) was absolutely delicious. Despite the great food, the experience overall was not good. We were seated when we walked in and not given a menu until 15 minutes after that. Although our orders were taken in a timely manner after we received the menus to look at, the meals themselves took about 50 minutes from that time (we only got two meals - the dragon roll and the taco).
Read moreThere was a girl who was already there when we first sat down and I heard her order a coffee. When we got our food (over an hour since we’d been there) she still hadn’t received her coffee despite reminding the
waiter multiple times. She ended up leaving without ever getting her coffee.
The man waiting seemed preoccupied the whole time.
I hope they can sort out this issue as the food was delicious.

An Amsterdam Favorite - Edit
One of my favorite sit-down-restaurant places to eat in Amsterdam because the dishes are unique. They are common dishes but with a twist so it's not what you expect when you get them for the first time. Great presentation on the plate. Good size portions. It did take a while to get our food but once it arrived it was worth the wait. The restaurant is close to tourist destinations. Be prepared to wait a while for your food.

First vegan restaurant in Amsterdam!! - Edit
This place was absolutely delightful. the sort of restaurant where you walk in and feel the love straight away. Cute paintings on walls and a relaxed atmosphere. We loved it BEFORE we tried the food. We ordered the dragon roll, dumplings and the chicken burger. WOW! We demolished it. I felt so full in my stomach and heart and I went and thanked the chef and staff and that's when they told me it was the first vegan restaurant in Amsterdam! You can taste it! Highly recommend.
