WOOOW - Edit
I looooved this place! Such a cosy place, and the menu is amazing, I wanted every single dish! Ended up getting the okonomiyaki and man was that the right decision. The portion is big enough to get you satisfied, and had yummy blueberry kombucha as well. Would for sure return:))))

Definitely a whole in the wall. Friendly staff and chill Jamaican music. The food was good but not amazing. I had the Jamaican platter and I plan to try more on their varied menu next time.

So tasty! - Edit
We originally walked past this place as it's so unassuming. The energy is very homely and the food was absolutely delicious! Expect to wait it looks like it was just one chef and one waiter.

It is run bij the family. I remember when I was there for the first time (years ago) the father was carrying the baby, cooking and serving me. They are such lovely & authentic people & I loved the food - great Jamaican Japanese Tastes

Great food, but… - Edit
If you want to spend time in a calm clean place in a center of a rush city you’ll be probably unpleasant there. It’s very dirty there, especially the toilets. Also I don’t appreciate far-left political agenda in a place where I eat. The food is good, they offer a mediterran kitchen and also some Asian food. But we were waiting for it for almost 40 minutes! All drinks are packed and they don’t have homemade coffee or lemonades. Seats are also very uncomfortable. Prices are quite high, but it’a understandable for a center of Amsterdam. It wasn’t the worst option for a dinner, but I wouldn’t return there.

Unique vegan restaurant - Edit
Terra Zen is craaaaazy good man. The uniqueness between the Japanese and Caribbean fusion cuisine is insane and out of this world. Definitely not your typical vegan restaurant. The prices were really good too! Visit them pls!

A little gem in the centre - Edit
A little hideaway in the city centre. It's not located on the main street, but Maps gave easy directions. Hosts like 8 tables inside, with 100% vegan food and drinks. And the food is great! The staff is friendly so it's a perfect hideaway in the centre.

An unexpectedly fantastic fusion - Edit
I used to live in Japan and don't think I've ever encountered this kind of fusion cuisine. The okonomiyaki was amazing, which I haven't been able to have otherwise since becoming vegan. The yakisoba was good with a little bit of a curry flavour which added another layer of yumminess. As someone said to us when they were leaving the restaurant, "It's worth the wait!"
