Great veggie cafe!

Huge funky place with lots of tables. Really reasonable prices. Very simple but great home style food.

The sourdough bread is so thick and fluffy 👌🏻👌🏻

Great service and friendly atmosphere.

Breakfast served until 1pm.

Lovely

I always drop by The Egg Cafe whenever I visit Liverpool 😊👍🏻 Lovely range of vegan food on offer and quirky environment. A bit hard to find but as soon as you find it you’ll never forget where it is 👍🏻

Pros: Vegan options, Reasonable price

Cons: A bit hard to find

A great start for vegans and vegetarians

We came here about 4 years ago. It was night time and it was bloody hard to find I tell ya!
It was worth it though, they had these love dimly lit candles on the tables and it felt somewhat romantic! The tables could do with not being as close to each other though.

As a non-vegan back in the day, I really enjoyed the offerings here and ordered a bit too much for two people!
Had the quiche, spicy burger and I think that there was a shepherds pie in a bowl. Nonetheless, everything was yummy, the bean burger was definitely vegan whereas the other two was vegetarian.

Amazing experience

Amazing location and great food

Lovely place with friendly staff and amazing vegan choices. The breakfast is great - I especially liked the burgers for lunch and those vegan cakes that are always different? Really tasty!
The cafe also looks very nice so that it’s not quite what you’d see every day and there is so much space to sit so that you can just come in any time!

Nice simple and fresh food with variety.

I go there very often, it become my comfort place when I want to escape for everyone and have 'Me' time. Very cosy, friendly atmosphere. I love this place cause they have art expiation of rising artist. It change very often witch make this place even more interesting. Staff is always on point, super friendly and helpful. Soup is always fresh and healthy, they change it often as well so there is no way you could get bored. They offer burger, pizza, pie etc night now and again. Desserts and pretty good as well and you could bring your won alcohol while with friend and enjoy it with you meal. You could order Birthday cakes, book the place for parties or book a table.

Pros: environment friendly, information regarding events in Liverpool , Could purchase or enjoy fine Art

Cons: bit dodgy stairs., looks a bit unkempt

Great healthy food for a great price

Love this place. The garlic bread and soup combo is a Great lunch deal. Love that you can bring your own alcohol in and pay corkage. The food feels fresh and healthy and it's such a good price. Wish it was fully vegan, but it's got loads of vegan options. Abit annoying that there is a minimum card charge so if you plan on spending less than £10 take cash. Would recommend!

Pros: Corkage so can BYOB, Fresh and healthy, Lots of cheap vegan choices

Cons: Not fully vegan, Minimum card charge (£10)

I go here semi-regularly

The vegan breakfast is spot on here. It includes this sort of fried tofu with turmeric in place of scrambled eggs that I've never seen anywhere else and it's very filling; it really sets you up for the day. In the past I've had stuff like shepherd's pies, lasagnes, blind scouse, and other stodgy fare, and I've never been disappointed. It's well known locally and plenty of meateaters I know eat here now and again.

Pros: They get the newspaper in, Staff have a good approach

Cons: On the second floor of the building with no ramps

Cheap, Quick, and Easy Breakfast

Went here on a trip to Liverpool. We needed a quick breakfast option within walking distance of the hotel. They are entirely vegetarian with plenty of Vegan options. We got two of the Vegan Big Breakfasts. The food was good. It’s not anything fancy or incredible by any means but it was a decent Vegan breakfast. The price was very impressive. We paid £7 for a good portion of food. The price definitely matched the food which is nice. You order at the register and seat yourself. It wasn’t the cleanest or warmest place in the world but it was quaint and met our needs. It was overall enjoyable.

Pros: Price, Convenience

Cons: Cold, Cleanliness

Enjoy it here

I’ve always enjoyed coming to this place, since I was a vegetarian. As a vegan, it’s still great, nice feeling, some good options, just not a great variety. Price is still good and staff are friendly. Recommended for a nice informal lunch or dinner. Vegan options are indicated.

Pros: Nice staff, Good prices , Available options are nice

Cons: Probably could have more vegan options

Really yummy

Would definitely go back. We had vegan pancakes with bananas and syrup, but I want to go back and try the salads as they look amazing. The service was really quick despite it being busy. The cafe itself is so cute and chic and colourful! They also have vegan milkshakes which is an automatic 5/5 stars :)

Nice little cafe

We had breakfast here. I had the vegan full English and my 2 friends had the vegetarian breakfast. The tofu was really tasty and whatever they put in the baked beans was good! They had run out of oat milk when they’d just opened which was a shame but we still enjoyed our drinks. They have a nice decor inside and it’s on the top of a building so you get a nice view.

Bohemian cafe

The egg is very good. Lots of simple cafe meals, assortment of hot and cold food. We both got garlic cheese on toast with a mixture of all the salad. You get a lot of food for the price.

The cafe accepts payments on cards over £10 and provided a takeaway tub for our leftovers.

Pros: Large portions, Free infused waters , Bohemian atmosphere

Cons: Cold inside , Limited seating when busy, Access up a large staircase may be difficult.

Stunning breakfast

Great deal to get a full english vegan breakfast with orange juice for under £6.

The portion sizes were huge, we could barely finish! And first time I’d ever tried scrambled tofu, so good it’s ignited my passion for cooking it myself.

Great location, very unique and interesting decor, and lovely staff.

Pros: cheap, lots of vegan options, relaxed setting

Rustic veggie hang out

I used to love this place but in my last two visits portions where tiny. They used to load plates with salad but now they just put a flat not as appetizing plate in front of you. It's a shame..with so much completion for vegans now this place needs to up it's game! Food is nice but you could easily make it at home!

Pros: Good options and rustic feel inside

Cons: Small portions

Lovely

Fully vegetarian with vegan options. Nice food but the vegan options vary are a bit strange - you end up with a chilli/curry with a side of pasta and salad which is a bit strange to most people. Very nice food and very relaxed atmosphere.

Pros: Vegan options

Awesome Quirky Café

A laid back, quirky, warm and homely café! We was spoilt for choice with the options to choose from! My vege boyfriend and being vegan myself, we could easily adapt the choices available. We had a tai and coconut soup with homemade garlic bread, both outstanding. Followed by chickpea Dahl with the choice or rice or salad or both!

Pros: Lots of choice laid back atmos.

Cons: Had to get all your own cutlery, dressing and napk
