good and cheap - Edit
It is not my favourite vegan place as i find most of the buffet items are the same and quite repetative. But delicious and friendly family.

Great food, but spoiled - Edit
Cheap buffet with lots of tasty options, two out of seven were spicy. Free bottled water. However, all dishes except the rice were cold like they'd been in the pot since yesterday. It's a real shame because the food was really tasty otherwise

Not quite what I ordered... - Edit
Upon arriving we looked at the buffet items but most of it was gone. There were sorry bits left over and it didn’t seem too appealing. So I ordered the stir fried tofu with cashews and a side of brown rice from the menu. The brown rice was cooked beautifully however when the main arrived it looked nothing like the picture in the menu. It was a plate of deep fried tofu that had been so over cooked it was just greasy batter. It had fried cashews and some chunks of red pepper with it. No sauce. In the picture it looks like soft tofu, veg and nuts with some sauce. When I asked for sauce she offered me ketchup and seemed offended saying something like “I flavoured it already”. I didn’t feel well after eating some of it (I could only eat a few bites) and I have just returned home 5 hours later and currently have diahorrea. I don’t recommend.

sorry Khunnay! - Edit
We ate here a few weeks ago. I feel terrible writing this review but I don't want others to have the same experience.
Read moreThe lady serving us was super friendly and made us feel comfortable even though she had use of little English.
We felt like the food had been sitting in the pot all day and tasted disgusting. We felt bad so ate as much as we could.
That night I had bowl problems that lasted a week.
It may of been a one off but I wouldn't recommend it.
Pros: friendly, cheap
Cons: terrible food

Hot hot hot! - Edit
The boss was having a massage, another lady serving there didn't seem to know what was going on. Helped ourselves to the food in the vats, first 3 were so spicy even my wife (who likes spicy food) complained. Luckily they provide some cucumber and green beans which help cool your mouth down. Apart from being hot, the food didn't really have much flavour, but it was all vegan (as far as I could tell) and the price was very low so could be a good option if you're hungry and nearby.

allergy unaware - Edit
First of all whilst the food looked nice, it's sat outside in vats all day long getting cold and turning a bit stale. The waitress was skyping when we arrived and seemed annoyed we had turned up.
Read moreI have a nut allergy so I explained , I also showed her in Thai ( I have a phrase book). Again she seemed annoyed to have to talk to a customer, she told me nothing had nuts in. I double checked with her and she confirmed
The curry had nuts on and when I showed her ( after taking a bite) she laughed in my face. Pathetic that she couldn't care less about her customers wellbeing- I hate giving bad reviews for vegan restaurants but don't risk eating here if you have an allergy or want any kind of service
Pros: large selection
Cons: terrible waitress, no awareness of allergies

An oasis in koh samui... right near central festival shopping centre in chaweng, this place has an all you can eat vegan buffet for only 120 baht.. there are several dishes to choose from in the Buffett including a soup, and the buffett changes every day... great variety of Thai vegan food. there is also an a la carte menu, however did not try it as the buffett had enough variety.... enjoyed this place so much went back many times to eat... love khunnay

Lovely Vegan Thai Food in Koh Samui - Edit
Great vegan thai with large variety of choices. The owners are very friendly and kind. We enjoyed the springs rolls, fried beancurd, pad thai and cashew chicken. Serves lots of mock meat items all full of flavour and very tasty at affordable prices. The shakes are also delicious especially on hot days. Highly recommend.

Little gem on Koh Samui - Edit
Ate there with my non vegan parents and sister, and we all loved the food. Everything we ordered was bursting with flavor, and the woman who worked there was kind to answer our questions about the food, and gave us little samples of the food so we could taste it before we ordered it. All in all, it was amazing thai food, with all kinds of tasty meat and fish alternatives, and the waiter and owner were very kind and sweet. Also, it was very cheap! Worth a visit :)

Thai vegan dream - Edit
We had a really scrummy meal at Khunny!! We eat well in Thailand, ordering our staples of pad Thai & pad see ew without fish or egg, mixed veg without oyster sauce & som tum without fish sauce, but eating at a Thai vegan restaurant takes it to the next level. Not to mention the huge bonus of being spoilt for choice, it's so exciting eating food cooked by someone who designs the meal without any meat, fish or egg in mind, using all the amazing traditional Thai flavours, along with TVP & &/or tofu, to offer a bit more than just veggies. We chose some starters from the menu & spicy options from the buffet & devoured it all!
