Read moreFirst of all the setting is just gorgeous- it’s an old colonial style house which was completely renovated. It has great history with the first female sculptor living in here. Now it is the most beautiful settings you can wish for - probably nice as dinner date as well!
The food is stunning! Wow - I am impressed - the Massaman Curry was not only presented nicely, it was also the best Curry I have had so far. Three types of Yam and also some delicious and crisp Thai Roti with it (still hot). As starters I had vegan pork in noddles wrapped and deep fried. Also delicious. They have lots of traditional Thai dishes veganized - I haven’t seen them anywhere else
Lovely service and so professional.
Drinks are refreshing. I usually drink coconut water a lot, but the coconut nectar juice was so interesting and delightful. Also had a welcome drink.
As cake they have raw cakes in three flavours and with a baked crispy bottom layer. I had coffee and it was rich and creamy! Stunning texture and not too sweet #Veganuary

The venue is charming, and the menu is both extensive and intriguing, featuring many unusual ingredients and lesser-known dishes. I was particularly impressed with the salads; the fermented mushroom and crispy rice salad is a must-try. The earthstar mushroom curry was also a standout dish, offering a unique opportunity to try a widely unknown mushroom. On the other hand, the massaman curry didn’t quite hit the mark for me, as it was overly sweet and lacked the depth of spices expected, which was further amplified by the substitution of yams for the traditional potatoes. Nonetheless, this restaurant is a delightful new addition that's certainly worth exploring.

The building is beautiful: lovingly decorated and great ambience. The service was excellent- attentive and capable staff who took pride in their jobs and were there to ensure you had a good experience. The menu was tempting- difficult to choose from a big array of fantastic vegan dishes.

This place is so special and the food was amazing - the best Thai food I had in Bangkok, with a huge all-vegan menu to choose from. The place is quite large but it was only me and one other table for dinner. More vegans should go here so they can keep running and making fabulous food!

Read moreVegan Mahanakhon was such a perfect way to end our beautiful trip! The setting, menu, plating, food - everything was just exquisite.
Personal favorite was the fried betel leaves - the dipping sauce with that was out of this world! Spicy, yes, but so so flavorful!
Also, the staff was super nice. We arrived late thanks to Bangkok traffic and were the last ones in the restaurant but they continued to be so patient and kind to us and did not make us feel rushed in any way (even though we finished our meal only at 9:30 and they close at 9:00pm).
Truly appreciate the beautiful food and service! This was one for the books!

Definitely one of the best restaurants I went to in South East Asia. I don't even think it's that expensive compared with some other vegan restaurants in Bangkok and definitely cheaper than Phuket. We had the appetizer plate, massaman curry and khao soi. All were fantastic! I really would recommend coming here if you are in Bangkok. The flavours were classic but elevated. Only downside was they seemed to be having an issue with their card machine so maybe make sure you have enough cash.

This restaurant is probably the best I've had. Seriously. We ordered so much on the menu and it was all good. The pad Thai, stir fried vermicelli noodles, appetizer sampler, Thai basil meat, and the 3 different cakes. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. the restaurant also adjusted the spice level to our liking. The restaurant itself is in this very cute modern home. Almost like I was eating at someone's house. Loved it.

Everything from the building, to the interior decoration, and the food is amazing. They serve mostly Thai food, although when we were there, they also had a special menu for Lunar new year. The prices are more than fair.
