Sorry, no - Edit
I wish I could say that this pizza is delicious. Unfortunately I can’t even call it a pizza. The cheese doesn’t even melt properly. The crust is dry and hard. The sauce is very salty and you basically taste only the (bad) tomato sauce. It’s really bad, I cannot recommend it. Sorry 😞

Yucky - Edit
I really wanted to like this place. It's been around before it was vogue to be vegan. I've tried their pasta - bland marinara on overcooked noodles. Gross. But okay to be honest I've never had good pasta from a pizza place so tried their pizza. For the seafood lovers once, it was horrifying. Got the meat lovers once, it was also horrifying. Didn't resemble a pizza at all. A thick, salty thing. I had their ceaser salad it was fine. The only thing not gross, but nothing special. Garlic bread is good.

The pizza is very good, with lots of things on it. But it's quite spicy, a bit too much for me.

Do not go here... - Edit
Id give 0 stars if I could. Understaffed place, thus the staff are overworked and will take very long to make your pizza, many hours if you choose delivery.
Read moreI have seen health and safety codes being violated, staff will use the same gloves handling cash and food. If veg is moldy, Ive seen them just cut out the mold instead of throwing the whole thing away. The phones dont work half the time and sometimes the computer freezes, leaving you waiting for up to half an hour while a queue is building.
The restaurant itself is dirty and the tables and chairs are mismatched heights.
And to top it all off, the food isnt even that good. The pizza crust is too floppy and soggy to hold the massive pile of toppings, the donair left me very disappointed and questioning if they know what a donair is. Same with the lasagna.
Pros: The beef is good
Cons: Overpriced, Disappointing food, Long wait times

Magical - Edit
I had a craving for pizza and ordered from here for the first time. Holy bananas, was it amazing! Great crust, good sauce, toppings were amazing. Would definitely order again. The lasagna was *makes so-so gesture with hand* but the pizza is well worth the cost. Would also suggest the Nanaimo bars.

Okay...you should totally just order a delivery as the actual place itself is a bit dirty, small, the counter is really high, there's a random unplugged/ un-used long freezer right next to our table - overall a very un-kept place.
Read moreThe pizzas itself, are fully loaded, I go for the Harvest special mostly. The Mediterranean and the Garden special are all very similar to it - it's always tasty but a bit too oily, the variety of vegetables makes eating the pizzas feel healthy hahaha!
The Vegan cheese pizza is my partners go-to.
Only had the Spicy vegan once, it was a bit too salty and oily, the toppings were a bit burnt and since we ate in the take-away place, the wait felt waaay too long for just one pizza. We get it, it's great that they are busy, would be nicer if the decor/ aesthetics were more pleasant to look at and be in.
The garlic dips are great, if you like strong garlic, this is for you!
Heads-up, the pizzas are huge and there's always left-overs - yay!
Finally, the bases of the pizzas are consistently floppy due to the amount of toppings on it - which are both a pro and a con!
Pros: huge pizzas! Great toppings!
Cons: a bit oily and the decor is dodgy.

Cute 10/10 - Edit
I was on a trip staying at the hotel next door, and wow do i love this place. I’ll say right away it was a little expensive, the pizza wasnt incredible but it was good. But i will spend the money to support this place any time i am back. Cute decor, posters of famous vegans on the walls, hand drawn thank you card underneath the register, and an extremely cute old man that gave me my pizza. Support these places instead of beyond burgers from a&w.

Awesome pizza - Edit
The place was a small hole in the wall but the pizza was probably one of the best vegan pizzas I ever had. My only complaint is that they didn't serve beer there. Don't understand how you can run a pizza shop and not have beer. Must be an American thing I suppose.

Nasty - Edit
I dont understand how anyone has left good reviews for this place. I ordered pizza and lasagna for dinner and they are both absolutely so gross that I can’t eat them. The pizza is soppy and gluey and tastes like cafeteria food. The lasagna tastes like noodles in canned tomato soup. I would never go to this place again when great restaurants like Virtuous Pie exist right here in Vancouver. Save your money!!

Fantastic but not for those in a hurry - Edit
I love this place but if you're in a. hurry then go fora by the slice options available. It's definitely more of a to-go place than somewhere to sit in - there are some tables but it's not super comfortable. I like the spicy vegan myself but the crusts are great and I expect everyone could find their own favourite. We visit too rarely to check out the extended menu but they have other Italian and Greek options (spanokapita/donairs/lasagne). Oh yes and I love the bubble tea. I only didn't give it 5 stars because, sadly, they switched from using Daiya cheese to use their own home-made cheese and, sadly, I don't think that it's quite as good (though I really wish that I did prefer the home-made option)

Worth the drive! - Edit
After wanting to try Vegan Pizza House for MONTHS my husband and I finally made the drive there and it did NOT DISAPPOINT! We pre-ordered the meat lovers vegan pizza and combo souvlaki, however, when we got there we decided to also order two combo (vegan beef/chicken) donairs to eat right away as we were both starving and were immediately blown away! It was so delicious that my husband ordered a second one to eat before we left. The pizza and souvlaki were equally as delicious! Highly recommended! We can’t wait to go back!

Gross. - Edit
I was so excited to order from this restaurant because of the reviews and found myself spitting out the pizza. The pizza looks and smells like dirty Chinese food, the faux meats are cheap and taste like rubber. I suggest you skip this one. I wish I could get my money back.

Hot Fresh Vegan Pizza delivered to your doorstep! - Edit
After travelling all afternoon we didn't feel like cooking or going out so we looked up a place that would deliver vegan food. Vegan Pizza House was close by so we gave it a chance and we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered a small Hawaiian and a small Cook Special, it came to $40 with tip, not cheap! Totally worth it though to have hot fresh vegan pizza delivered to your door! It was enough food for 2 of us and we even had a couple pieces leftover that we ate cold the next day, it was still delicious! I will definitely order from here again, there were quite a few choices and I'd like to try them all!

I love vegan pizza house - Edit
Vegan pizza house is the best vegan greasy pizza joint in town. They not only have every vegan pizza topping you can think of but they have salads, lasagna, donair, peanut butter cups and many other wonderful treats. Oh yes, and the man The is working every time I go in is so humble and sweet.

A+ Pizza - Edit
If you want pizza that is topped with heaps of fake vegan meats and cheeses I would recommend this place! It’s humble and does vegan pizza so well, I much prefer it to ordering vegan pizza from Panago! The staff is so great and service is quick! I love that they sell by the slice too! I love Kingsway with all of my heart and this is a wonderful location. Although I love both, it’s so good that there is a place I can get non-pretentious vegan pizza *cough cough* virtuous pie! The contrast of graphic design of the two vegan pizza places in Vancouver is hilarious, vegan pizza house’s branding is so charming. Highly recommend giving this place your business!

So good but so far - Edit
Their pizza is like a pie. Full of hearty toppings. So not at all like Virtuous pie thin crust gourmet pizza (which is also delicious).
Read moreMy non-veg friends really dig it, too.
One downside. They don't deliver to downtown because it is too far for them. I would not mind paying extra say $5-$7 for delivery out of their homezone. Back when they did deliver to Downtown/Gastown/West End, it took a really really long time.
For now we have to stick with pick up on the rare occasions when we are driving through that area.
Pros: Filling, Tasty, Great variety
Cons: Do not deliver to Downtown
