Food was super fresh and you can see into the kitchen it being made, which I love. I went for the combo deal, which I think is really good value and they did not skimp on the portion sizes. Very chill vibe to the place and the staff were lovely.

I was at Vegan Sushi Bar with a couple of friends on our trip to Amsterdam. Vegan Sushi Bar was our very first meal after an 11 hours long train trip, and they did not disappoint. We all agreed that the food is amazing!
Read morePersonally i would prefer the option to have a menu with different sushi, so you could taste several items. But that is a minor detail.
A bigger detail is the (in my opinion) uncomfortable seating on high bar chairs, the humid indoor climate, bad illumination ind the room and the unfitting electronica-like music. Mostly a personal taste, but I prefer "regular" seating, warm light and calm music that fits the atmosphere.
And they might need better ventilation.

We shared two lots of rolls with the crunchy california and the shrimpless rolls, crunchy wings and Takoyaki. The rolls were really nicely flavoured and filling, whilst the wings had an incredible batter and a delicious mushroom filling. Then the takoyaki just hit home as the highlight of the meal, it was so incredible that we wanted more immediately.
We finished up with the Matcha Tiramisu and the Mochi, both of which were absolutely delicious.
The staff were also super friendly and attentive, so really appreciate the service :)

I ordered the salmon roll and it exceeded my expectations by a long shot! It was simply delightful! It went well with the peach iced tea. The appetizer was gyoza (my favourites) and to top it up: tiramisu!!! It doesn’t get any better than this! #Veganuary

There is an extensive menu with mock fish and seafood sushi including vegan salmon, tuna, shrimp and octopus balls. They also serve fresh wasabi which is amazing. Overall very tasty, friendly staff and good tea. Highly recommend

Out of all of the amazing things my boyfriend and I did on our visit to Amsterdam, Vegan sushi bar was the first thing I told people about when they asked about our trip. I can’t recommend this place enough, the staff are so incredibly lovely and accommodating, giving us a clear walk through of the whole menu including her own recommendations. The vibes in the rested were immaculate, part of the whole experience of eating here came from the lovely restaurant decor and other customers. And the food…is insane. The best meal out I have ever eaten, if not the best meal I have ever eaten full stop-definitely the best sushi I have ever had. despite being slightly worried about the cost of things on the menu as well as the amount we might get, our fears were soon dampened as soon as my boyfriend and I tucked into our first sushi roll, all of a sudden the sushi felt underpriced! The most delicious thing I have eaten, will be the first place I return to on my next trip to amsterdam, and the first place I recommend to anyone visiting. 1000000000/10.
