Vegan restaurant est. 2018. Offers a seasonal a la carte menu featuring Mediterranean and Asian inspired dishes made with local and seasonal Slovenian ingredients. Menu changes every two to three months. Seasonal specials are occasionally available and inclue house made ferments, vegan eggs, and tofu made in house. Choose from brownies, cakes and cinnamon rolls for dessert. Bio wine and different plant milks are available. Relocated from Komenskega ulica 30. Reservations are recommended (especially for bigger groups). Limited outdoor seating. Open Tue-Thu 12:00-21:00, Fri-Sat 12:00-22:00.

A various selection! Whether you take one of the main dishes or 2-3 of the smaller ones is up to you, but I would recommend to try as many things as you can. Hopefully you will be able to eat one of the delicious desserts...

Best vegan restaurant in town. Regular menu changes ensure some seasonal food is always available and makes you come back to try it all. After a tasty main, you should definitely try (at least) one of their sweet options. The pies are amazing. During the summer they also had a separate brunch menu with delicious sweet or savory toasts. Last but not least, their homemade lemonades and iced teas keep their meals perfect company. 11/10

We liked our meal here. The food was a little different to the norm and an eclectic mix of Asian and European flavors. We ordered a bun bun filled with curry, wakame side salad, creamy onion gnocchi, and a tempeh burger filled with homemade kimchi. The chocolate peanut butter tart we ordered to go was super delish too! The young lady who served us was lovely and the prices reasonable.

Gestern am Abend war das Restaurant leider voll & wir mussten uns eine Alternative suchen. Heute haben wir es zum Mittag versucht. Jetzt wissen wir auch, warum es gestern so voll war. Die Auswahl der Hauptgerichte ist überschaubar, aber es klingt alles sehr lecker. Wir hatten den Burger & die Dinkel-Gnocchi als Hauptgericht - beides super lecker. Auch die Vorspeisen waren der Hammer: Polentapfännchen mit Shitakecremesauce & mit Tofu gefüllte Ofenkartoffel. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s really great to see more 100% plant-based restaurants popping up, and Veganika are definitely contributing with their Asian-inspired vegan food and tasteful decor. However, we actually found the dishes we ordered to be quite bland (although this has been a bit of a feature of our Baltic experience) - given the style of food would’ve loved a lot more kick and flavour. We had two mains; the burger (great tempeh but needed something else, like a sauce or salsa), and the ramen (I’d rarely order ramen outside of a dedicated restaurant and this has only affirmed this I’m afraid). We also had one of the small plates, a fried bun with Japanese curry in it which was absolutely a stand-out - maybe we missed the mark and should’ve just gone for a selection of small plates? I believe this menu is new though so maybe they are still working some stuff out?

Not only was the food awesome (Soba 103, Bun Bun and Polenta) but we also felt very welcomed by the extremely friendly staff. My personal highlight apart from the food was the sunscreen and other supplies at the toilet, which makes it feel like they really care for their guests. Nice inside and outside seating in a small, colourful sideroad.
